Yea they give you the playstation plus is nice but the stuff you get fre most of it is taken away when the service is over trust me

so something tells me that they cant make them for some odd reason..
or who ever is in charge will not give the green light and rather us go to 3rd party companies etc..
and they only increase in value because they are rare, but if they did it on a regular basis it would be more affordable and reasonable to buy a used “designer” console, instead of paying out the rear for some that are almost untouchable.. mgs4 is a good example, try buying one that will cost less than a brand new 320 slim..
crazy as it sounds but they can cost double, and a trend which is also w/ 60 fat boys . unique,different,better but older and less memory yet costs more in the open market. obviously the o.s. and update had hurt the value but they are still very much desired for as we all know the bw’s compat..many people own a slim and a 60

it is not unheard of for a console to be designed to match the theme of the bundle and remain at retail.
as far as the killzone bundle you got, well i wish that it wouldve came w/ sick graphics.
not talking about the price/value or this specific bundle or day month or year, talking in general.
and hoping to get the attention of someone who may eventually get something going with making a desire obtainable. a close mouth doesnt get fed..
and i agree, now w/ the price cut etc 299.99 is a great price , but unfortunately the bundle you got was in a different year and time, but what remains the same is black on black consoles w/ no hint of any kind of mass production of nicely designed consoles to match bundles. it may be a lost cause, but doesnt mean i wont stay hopeful

i hate the idea of having my console opened or having to pay money to a 3rd party when it can just remain w/ sony.
maybe there is a reason legally which prevents you guys from doing console “make overs” , but its confusing to why you dont .. maybe there isnt enough demand?

sony uncharted looks great, any idea about the console being bundled but also designed w/ theme in the future?
I think Sony should make different colored PS3 Systems for each bundle w/ matching controller.
I think they would move more units that way. They don’t have to go over the top, like MS does with their System, sounds when the disc-tray opens, but something that would suit the Uncharted series. Maybe a PS3 System that looks like it was an artifact found in the deserts or some sort. Would look awesome now that I’m thinking about it!

I like this edition also the throwing in ps plus for 1 month is a 4xcellent thing. Seems like your guys at sony are listening to us and and ps legionarre group.. . I also agree with a limted style of color for these bundles . you dont do press up so many. Just like mga4 had the gun metal bl;ue console. I think drake uncharted couls of had a sand color console with drake face on it or U3 onthe console. Agn those console would be exclusive to pre order of it. Keep up the great work sony

How about making a custom design for the PS3, just like with the FFXIII bundle in japan. I already have a PS3, so why should I buy another one that looks the same??? I would buy the bundle if you add an awesome design of the Uncharted Franchise on that PS3.
Great bundle, if you dont have a ps3 and want to get in + get a great game aswell, this is a must.
But yea as alot of others are saying, some special designed ps3s would be awesome, i saw the Battlefield 3 one lastnight and that one looks hot!!

its just a basic PS3 Slim model though.. whatever happened to true bundles like the God of War PSP(red with the Kratos paint) or the Metal Gear 4 special edition system…?? thats how bundles should be..
im just buying the game myself… dont need a third PS3 system… my first one (60gb) is still in its box, YLOD twice, with a bluray stuck in the drive….
anyhow, cant wait for this game… my most wanted release of the year..

Normally I find the negative comments on here to be unreasonable and usually question if some of the posters on here even own a Sony system. But this time I’m going to have to agree. This bundle and every bundle has been a major let down. Come on guys, even Nintendo released a red Wii with some Mario game.

Why are people NEVER satisfied? Some of the comments here are unbelievable, especially the first one. A Month free of PS+ subscription with a great bundle price of a game and a console for $299 is a done deal cheaper than the bundles released in the early days.
I’ll definitely be recommending my friends into this. This is a great starter kit for them in the Uncharted series.

The noobies are always getting something kooler then we do lol… Its a great bundle if only it comes with some accessories. Such as the stand that u see in the pic and maybe a $20 psn card to get you started on saving games with the free month of ps+ lol… Now thats marketing “SONY”. And that’ll even make me buy a second ps3 lol… I’ll give u this tip for free Sony. If ur interested in marketing skills shoot me an email ;)
The PS Plus free month is of little value, sony will do what they did after the outage earlier in the year. Put up even less desirable content than they usually do. The bundle itself with UC3 is decent enough for new owners and should help sales over christmas if they play it smart and keep stores in stock until then. But as so many have said sony does need to step it up and release some of these bundles with more colours. Both red & blue PS3’s were announced at tokyo game show and no doubt these will be japan only once again. Big mistake sony, you need to outperform your competitors on this one not cling to their backsides.
If this had a different color scheme I would buy it for sure.

The days of colored consoles are long gone. Xbox 360 comes in black (and the new Star Wars white). The Wii comes in black and white. The only systems that get different colors nowadays are handhelds.
Why doesn’t Sony ever decorate the console to coincide with the game like xbox does! Just Saying!

Why isn’t this with a special edition PS3 and PS3 controller? Uncharted 3’s launch is not just the biggest for PS3 this year, arguably ever so far, it’s the biggest launch for the PlayStation family this year! It makes no sense this isn’t a special edition PS3 and PS3 controller AT LEAST. The 360 bundles are with a 320GB 360, which is more than the normal 250GB 360, a special edition 360 with really NICE artwork AND two special edition controllers with really nice artwork. This should be AT LEAST a special edition PS3 and PS3 controller. The last one USA got was the MGS4 I think and it was just a different color with the name MGS4 on it I think. The Tales of Xillias special edition PS3 could and should be better with a matching PS3 controller but it’s WAY better than just a plain black PS3.
I think Sony should see things clearly. One reason why online on 360 is superior is because a headset was bundled with every 360, Sony should bundle a headset with every PS3 that connects to the controller or if they dumbly won’t do that, a wireless headset.

That’s not true. Gamers everywhere want different colored home consoles and special editions and they are made. But only MS does it with 360 and and Sony rarely in Japan and even more rarely in the States. Sony does have many different colored PS3 controllers which I really like.
