inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood

This fall, PlayStation Move is set to deliver a new batch of compelling experiences that get you on your feet and put you directly in the game. As we mentioned to you previously, the number of PlayStation Move games released or in development have surpassed 80 titles and continues to grow. When coupled with 3D, PlayStation Move continues to set new benchmarks in immersive gameplay experiences.

LittleBigPlanet 2: Rise of the Cakeling

Already you’ve seen AAA titles such as Resistance 3 incorporate PlayStation Move compatibility and you can expect more to come soon, including downloadable expansion packs for LittleBigPlanet 2 and inFAMOUS 2. Today, LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack: Rise of the Cakeling kicks things off with five giant story levels and seven side levels, making it LittleBigPlanet’s biggest Downloadable Content Pack to date. In October, we’ll really get things moving with the launch of Everybody Dance, the high-energy game that lets you and your friends dance to 40 chart-topping party hits. Also launching on the 25th is the inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood game, the single-player game that lets you experience first-hand what it’s like to wield electricity with the precise motion control of PlayStation Move. On November 15, titles such as Carnival Island, which lets you experience the joy of classic family-friendly fun with 35 carnival attractions; EyePet & Friends, the continuation of the innovative EyePet franchise which enables kids and their families to experience the magic of a virtual Pet in the real world; and Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest, which combines sword fighting, archery and throwing stars in a playful action-adventure, are sure to engage families in interactive gameplay.

  • Looks like the Move was a great investment. Recently I’ve beat No More Heroes Paradise with the Move, fantastic experience. Looking forward to House of the Dead and Child of Eden and from this announcement Deadmund’s Quest, those guys really nailed Sports Champions so I know it will be fun and precise.

Jefferson one quick question. I saw some footage of a Move fitness game that I believe is being made by Sony. Will we see more coverage of that anytime soon?

  • Thanks For All The New Move Games….. I Love My Move, I Think It Is One Of The BEST Features Of The PS3 ………..

Sony Really Are The Best and I Grew Up With Playstation And It Has Become The BEST Franchise Of Home Consoles and Portable Consoles I Have EVER Seen

    Can’t Wait For PS VITA

    Thank- You For Everything

  • Oh no’s they added move to infamous 2 after I played the living hell out of it? I wanted that in the beginning and was thinking how great it would be to use the Move stuff with that game, sigh. Its way cool they are adding Move but it should have been there from the get go dang nab it. Oh well I could replay it i suppose.
I wish Dead Island had move support. That would have been awesome. (hint hint)

  • I’m really excited for Medieval Moves, so it’s a bit disappointing to see it launching after Halloween :(

  • I’m excited I just picked up my Move for $25 @ gamestop.

  • Aw, I’ve been actually working & missed the start of this thread. Other people already beat me to the “Gamestop has 50% sale….now!” ( I bought a second set of controller plus nav for $40 total!) & “where the frak is Sorcery, dagnabbit!!!”

But Sid made it all up for me by saying Infamous 2 is getting retroactive Move support. Yay! I was saving evil kharma play through because of that rumor.

  • Oh, for those wanting a dancing or fitness Move, I recommend the Michael Jackson experience. Really good exercise & it’s more fun dancing to MJ than doing boring aerobics. Try not to twist your ankle during “Thriller.”

  • Will infamous 2 be sold at retailers as well or is it download only? I love the price on it, 15$ is spot on to where I can safely buy it otherwise I would have had to hold off on it due to the fall overload of games.

  • you know what would be good? policenauts using the move… just my opinion…or snatcher…..

  • while im sure that those who have a ps move, appreciate all the upcoming titles that will be receiving support for this peripheral, is it possible to have ALL the developers remove the 3 ‘MOVE’ intro setup screens from ALL titles?! i like that a game has support, but i feel like those that have the ‘MOVE’ know how to use it (the instructions do come with the device, right?), and people like me who have NO interest in it at this time should not have 2 suffer through an extra 2min (+- repeated rapid button mashing) delay/ADVERTISEMENT to get loaded into my game EVERYtime! It makes me not want to buy a game specifically if it has ‘MOVE’ support, or ever consider getting the device if you are going to tell me how to use it everytime i turn it on, or swap games! I find this very annoying! Please and thank you.

  • Also, I just bought the Fight Lights Out for $10 at Gamestop :D

  • Could you edit this to include the other recently-released, upcoming, and announced Move games? Here’s just some that I know of:

    GoldenEye Reloaded
House of the Dead: Director’s Cut
    PixelJunk 4am
Under Siege (I believe more is in the works for this game)
    Combat Wings
    4 Elements HD

I think that’s all, but I’d like a complete list for fall / winter.

    Thanks!
(p.s. bring on The Fight DLC! I vote for a survival mode.)

  • the dlc I mean of course xD

  • I want Sorcery as well. Can we get a follow-up? I know it hasn’t been cancelled, but I did hear it’s receiving some triple A treatment from some Sony. KILL the rumors and give us a status update! I wanna blow stuff up with magic! =) Btw, day 1 buy for Infamous: FoB.

  • Avatar photo

    See reply to Airleak.

  • Sweet Infamous 2 and the DLC are getting full Move support… not just for the UFC stuff right?

    • You will be able to play inFAMOUS 2 and Festival of Blood with the Move controller. We will explain more soon. Stay tuned.

  • 50% off pretty much all Move accessories on Gamestop. com right now. Grabbed me a Nav controller for $15.

  • Carnival Island looks like the first game to be a fun motion controller game like Sports Champions. Make more games like this, this is what I bought the Move to play, Wii-like games but with PS3-type graphics.

  • Move available to Infamous? Great, that’s gonna be really crazy !!

Tell me, will Uncharted 3 be playable with Move ??

Liked the investement of Sony in PlayStationMove games, keep on going!

  • Well I just picked up another Move controller ($25), Playstation Move Heroes ($10), and Start the Party ($10) from Gamestop since they are having a killer sale on all Move stuff that started today. There is some great looking games coming out in the future so can’t wait.

If anybody is thinking about getting a Move Gamestop is were to go right now.

  • @ Jefferson Dong. I looked it up and I was thinking of Move Fitness. The game looks really impressive and I’m looking forward to adding it to my Move collection.

  • Any updates on the game sorcery?

  • So, is this at all a confirmation that Move support will NOT be available with Resident Evil 4 HD when released on PSN next week?

  • By any chance, will there be a PS PLUS discount for the Infamous 2 DLC?

  • We need a Star Wars lightsaber PS move game that’s better than the other one that I won’t mention.
Or port the Star Wars Trilogy Arcade!!!

  • A followup to a question partially answered above: will Move Fitness come out in America this Fall as well?

  • is InFAMOUS 2 move capable?

  • so for all the poor ppl who cant afford to buy the move bundle and also the sub-controller will we be able to play the festival of blood with the basic controller?

  • None of the up and coming games compel me to purchase the move, but if there were a new singstar dance and a medieval melee fighter… i’d be sold. RE5 with move sounds cool, too. Gamestop has some rad discounts going on, too.

  • Sorcery is THE reason I bought the Move. I’ve enjoyed some other titles so far, but Sorcery is still high on my want list. I can’t wait for FoB and Move support for inFAMOUS2 (as long as it’s done well). I just got the Move update for LBP, but I have not had a good enough chance to play it D:

For anyone looking for a good Move game, I suggest Tumble. It’s my favorite Move title and one of my favorite games all together.

Medieval Moves has also piqued my interest.

  • Can we please get some more serious content like Dead Space Extraction and the incredibly excellent Rise of Nightmares over on the “other” console?

  • im not digging the move alot anymore but i liked it in killzone 3 but never used it on online cause i dont like losing or letting my team down also on dead space extraction was cool, plus virtua tennis 4,im getting medieval move, and infamous dlc!!!still have it tough with the sharpshooter!!

  • can’t wait for that Festival of Blood. looks pretty bad-ass

  • Cole has a cross now? SWEET

  • i think we need a follow-up to Sports Champions with new sports/events.. there are plenty of options out there, im sure.. Move has been available a year now… more titles is definitely in order…

  • Worried that adding move support to infamous2 will not be great. However I’m looking forward to trying it. (makes me glad that i haven’t bought infamous2 yet).

  • will it be a short stand alone game, like if i downloaded sonic or something? Or will it have a platinum trophy?

  • Where is my FPS RPG with dual move support? I want it soooo bad it feels so natural. Also why wasn’t there a glowing ball on the end of the navigation controller? It would have made since to me to include it. I really want to see a game similar to oblivion with move support maybe Skyrim? Or even better a sony title made entirely around the move setup, using the nav controller and option to engage in fights and use two move controllers 1 for each hand even if you have nothing equipped in either hand. My mind is melting.

  • Infamous 2 getting Move support? I already beat it twice, no use to me. Will get the vampire DLC though.

  • Just wanted to say thanks for the $14.99 price on Infamous. I really don’t see the point waiting until release to give a price i.e. LBP2 Move bundle.

  • You don’t need to purchase Festival of Blood to get Move support for inFamous 2 right? Move functions for inFamous 2 are going to be released via patch right? That’s how it has to be.

I would really like (as long as it works) for Move controls in inFamous 2 to not just be button presses and for it to be epic motion controls. That’s how it should be because if not what’s the point of using Move, like on LBP2, Move compatible but no motion controls.

  • I’m interested in Medieval Moves and Sorcery. Does Medieval Moves have multiplayer? it would be great if it had competetive multiplayer.

I was interested in Everybody Dance but the music sucks, LMFAO, Pitbull and Rude Boy from Rihanna, classics are better for these games. And it’s only two player not four and it seems that it won’t be like Dance Central that you actually have to do the dances, it seems like Just Dance that you just move the motion controller in a similar way and you’re done. I would love and purchase and dance game that doesn’t require any controller just the camera and you have to actually do the exact moves like Dance Central, four players offline at the same time and classic songs.

  • I bought the Doomsday Edition for Resistance 3, and while R3 was amazing, its Move controls were not. This makes me happy though. If Sucker Punch can make the Move controls work, it could be a even more badass feeling while using Cole. Glad to see Sony bringing out a multitude of Move titles. It really is for everyone.

  • looks awesome…I will get some titles for move…and LBP2 move pack is amazing.Cant wait how will be infamous 2 with move.

  • Will Move Fitness also be out this fall for the PS3?

  • WHERE IS SORCERY!?!

  • Any chance Infamous festival of blood will get a discount with PS+ users?

  • cant wait for holidays! woohoo!

  • @SoleAddict23

Yes, Medieval Moves does have multiplayer, both coop and competitive, both offline and online as well.
