  • Is this a list of all the new songs, albums added to Music Unlimited this week?

    • No, these are just some of the highlights. We add a ton of new albums and songs as they’re released each Tuesday!

  • Thunder, Thunder, Thunder Cats, HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

  • Qriocity (basic) is HORRIBLE. I don’t care that we get upwards of a 6 month trail. 10 – 30 seconds of a full 3+ minute song? And needing a constant internet connection? Interesting idea, just really really crappy.

  • Give Quebec access to the Canadian Store………………..

  • Hi,

I am a PS+ member have been since day 1.

Bought Street Fighter last night because the Deal for the themes and character unlock expired at 11:59 PM PST.

NOw I didn’t get my 3 dollar discount from being a plus member. I did buy it before it expired. I waited till 11:45 PM PST. Just incase the + symbol would pop back up.. It never did. Now please could someone look into this and send me my 3.00 discount.
Happy over paying costumer.. (It said Sept.18 by 11:59 PM pst) + sign was gone after 5pm PST. I eneded up paying full pop.

    Thanks. And See you online.

  • When are you guys releasing Qriocity in Canada?

  • Qriocity is not a good service unless you want to listen to the top 100 or one of the preset radio stations. Their music suggestion is terrible! Youre better off using Pandora for free. Their music library is very limited, so it’s not really worth the money, when you can have pandora for free.

  • @cardinalsfan1122..I agree..I would use Pandora if Sony had it but i guess i gotta use my comp and phone lol

  • I thought about Qriocity but they only had about 50 songs from my music library of over 4000 songs so it would have been an utter waste of my time to pay for it. I was really hoping for something to save me some room on the PSP so I could finally listen to all my songs through it too.

  • For all you x-game chat whiners…

    h ttp://play stationlifestyle.net/2011/08/19/sony-says-cross-game-chat-on-ps3-not-possible/

    Just take out the spaces

  • Here’s two ideas of mine regarding the video and Music Unlimited services. Readers, tell me your thoughts!

    1) Click “upload” when in a Music Unlimited channel and a gigabyte of random songs will upload to the external media device connected to your PS3 or computer. Songs would have an expiration date.

    2) Rename TV/Video Services category to Audio/Video Services. Add the Music Unlimited service and Flixster trailer program from PlayStation Store video section.

    • Interesting thoughts! However, the great part about Music Unlimited is adding the music to your cloud for you to access anywhere – Android phone, web, BluRay, PSP, etc. Our channels offer the genre/era/mood-based randomization you’re looking for.

  • @FORMIK: It would be download, not upload. Uploading is taking things from your computer (or PS3) and sending them to the server. Taking from a server and placing them on your device is downloading.

  • Anyway you can look into lowering the prices on SD/HD purchases by about 5 dollars? 24.99 for new releases in HD is pretty ridiculous considering you dont get all the extras you would on a normal Blu Ray / DVD and you need to spend the bandwidth to download it. I just went to my local future shop and bought several newer dvds and blurays (Hangover, Hot Tub Time Machine, Gremlins and Final Fantasy Advent Children to be exact) and they were all 35 dollars total before tax.

I dont know if its just because I am in Canada, maybe the prices in the States video store is different – though I doubt it – but I cant justify buying movies on your service due to these distinct differences

  • @Midiboy, you’re right – I understand the difference, not sure how that happened. Regardless, what are your thoughts on the idea? I think the service as it is right now is good, but something like this would make it great.

  • Watch The Throne. I was so disappointed in that album.

  • FORMIK u have the right idea dude. i agree with u.

  • Hey sony, whatever happened to the cross game chat you promised?

  • How about releasing Green Day’s Bullet in a Bible and Awesome As **** to the video section?

I don’t want to buy it from iTunes cuz then it wont work on PS3 or PSP D: How about you add iTunes to the services list?

  • @17 it’s not possible no need to ask for it nomore it’s a waste of a feature

  • Ashley,

Thanks for replying to my post! I’d like to suggest one thing then, for the premium service. Can you make the Top 100 channels shuffle every time they’re chosen?
I was impressed with the new music put on the service. Not long after Eddie Vedder’s Ukulele Songs album was released, I heard it on Music Unlimited.

  • Come on Chen, it’s time to include Mexico in you Video Store plans as well as Music Unlimited..!

  • I’m hoping ps vita has music unlimited.

  • Something Borrowed was a terrible movie, though I’ll probably rent Sicko for $0.99… seems like a good deal
