Over the next two months we’ve got some pretty darned cool LittleBigPlanet 2 DLC packs heading your way. I’m sure you’ve noticed the title of this post, so let’s not delay any further – from the depths of Midgar, I’m delighted to unveil…the FINAL FANTASY VII costume pack!
Coming to the PlayStation Store on July 12th, these costumes will let you re-live the struggle of Cloud, Aerith, and the rest of AVALANCHE against Shinra, from one of the most iconic and critically acclaimed video games of all time.
Exciting stuff – but that’s not all. I’m sure lots of you have been enjoying the continuing adventures of Cole McGrath in inFAMOUS 2. Those adventures can now continue even further thanks to the inFAMOUS 2 mini-pack. Released this week for $2.99, it contains costumes for Good Cole and Bad Cole, as well as a whole host of new stickers. Being a hero is optional in inFAMOUS 2, so this will give you a chance to show your true colors!
On July 20th, the Killzone 3 mini-pack will be released containing Rico and Hazmat Trooper costumes, and new stickers – I’ve raved about the coolness of the Hazmat Trooper costume in the past, so now you’ll be able to enjoy it for yourself. Just like the inFAMOUS 2 mini-pack, it’ll be priced at $2.99.
The next release to keep an eye out for is the Toy Story packs, which were just recently unveiled at E3. With THREE new costume packs containing all of your favorite characters, plus a level pack containing new Toy Story-themed levels to play through. These packs are sure to keep you entertained until the release of the LBP2 PlayStation Move pack. Stay tuned for more details (and pics!) soon.

Hang on, if I buy the LBP2 InFAMOUS 2 costume does it transfer on to the LBP1 game? I mean, like the LBP1 skins transfer to the LBP2 game, that make any sense?

These FFVII skins were teased to be content for LBP 1, I imagine i’ll still buy them for lbp 2, but only to support square/sony relations, as what this network really needs is a complete re-release of FFXI on PSN as a download for play on ps3s everywhere.

Charge a monthly subscription fee of roughly $10 or the regular $12-$13 (or better yet $7 as this is the price that current FFXIV subscribers are enjoying paying for FFXI as part of a deal, or $7 just for having been completely screwed over by the P-poor release of FFXIV which we still don’t have by the way Square)
My intention is to re-vitalize a brilliantly amazing game’s population, which at one point 2million people loved to be part of, FFXI can’t be re-created in FFXIV, that ship has sailed, FFXI is the key to covering Square/Enix’s HUGE mistake with FFXIV. The lack of mmorpgs aside from DCU(which also isn’t for everyone) in the ps3 gaming library makes this an easy profit for both Sony/Square/Enix.
You know ff7 costumes will be a huge money maker. Not infamous so much, cole is a really boring looking character.

FF7 was good but FF8 was and still the best outta the series.
I like all the costumes and all, but we need MORE LEVEL KITS! Either get Square to do them, or release more content assets for the community to make maybe FF7 related theme levels. Same goes for all the other 3rd parties.

I wish they can come out with all the costumes from all the games. Final Fantasy being one of my favorites of all time. I just want them to try to come out with all the costumes from all the games.
Im probably the only person gettin tired of all these LBP costumes. Im looking forward to the MOVE UPDATE..i hope it allows you to make a dunk hunt type of game..:)
