A bunch of movies I don’t watch–but hey, maybe others do! Nice movie update and tv series update.

  • WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO PUT 90210 IN THE PS STORE?????

  • yes, very nice. cant wait for the ps 3d tv

  • “Just in TV” should be “New Release Movies” and vice versa.

  • No more Standard Def movies please…at least always have an HD option. I’d say 70% of movies in this store are SD only…ridiculous. (referring to the Canadian Store).

  • How ’bout you make the PS3s right? You know…get the heat sink to do it’s job..

  • max_be_friend_12

انا اصلن اكرة الافلام best moves in best store I miss motorstorm

  • why playstation network down again

  • more to movies for the canadian store,, please

  • hey it my first time in the first few people #11

  • Sucker Punch was a huge disappointment. That movie had nothing to do with Sly Cooper OR InFamous. And yet they still somehow managed to fit in Nazi Zombies from Call of Duty. It’s like they don’t even know what company the movie was named after…

  • PSN video store still looks like the selection on the dusty rental shelf at the corner store, it never gets used either. I have to wonder who sets theses insane prices? Does Grace or anyone at sony ever show their face in a best buy, future shop or any video rental store? that might clue you in why people are upset here. Don’t forget the very poor selection of HD in here. It’s foolish for a company that manufactures only HD capable TV’s, players and PS3 to adopt such an anti-HD stance in their online offerings. Let me explain it in terms you’ll understand, you are losing sales by not listening to what your customers want. If you can’t understand that then its time for a new job.

  • i think PS Store gives us the chance to rent/own movies only because it wants the PS3 to almost do everything. im not sure if Sony knew that they would partner up with companies like NetFlix or VuDu later on so they decided to give us an chance to do our Pay-Per-View thing on the PS Store. and im sure that no one is buying a PS3 looking foward to watching downloadble HD movies off the PS Store, they buy it for the Blu-Ray player thinking they will go to their local RedBox and just rent from there. futhermore if youre rich like me then the price of movies dont really matter that much, i just sit back and let my PS3 entertain me…

  • Are the $.99 rentals going to be a permanent thing? That feature is one thing I love about VUDU and always wished was on PSN.

  • homes is down again i get kicked like 10 times a day how about you fix the psn and homes then worry about movies….

  • Currentlyabsent

I don’t see the new episodes of Futurama on the Canadian store, just wondering if or when those are going to be added.

  • @PirateHarlock: Ever consider that it’s not Sony that decides what version of the movie to put on the Store, or at what price? The publishers decide what the price point is, though from what I’ve browsed, it seems they’ve all settled on a basic pricing scheme across rentals and purchases for SD and HD content. But if the movie publisher doesn’t give them an HD version, then they don’t get an HD version. And I doubt Sony would say “no HD, no Store placement”. All content on the store has a chance of getting a sale, and earning them royalties, whereas if they deny movies being listed because they’re SD-only, then they block out revenue channels. They can ask for more HD, but if the movie companies have better deals with Netflix/Hulu/Redbox/etc, they’re going to hold it back.

  • Sucker Punch seems like a cool movie. I might see it.

Sony, why was I banned my old account rencizo1, has been banned for no reason. I am a loyal customer and I like Sony and their products. But why was I banned? I havent played in over a week, and I try to log in and it says I cannot use PSN. I have bought ADD-ONS and Games and I spent money through that account. (rencizo1) All I ask is, if you can unbanned it for I have done nothing and email me about the situation, and please Sony help me with this I am innocent and I ask you guys/women or who ever runs the account information to unban my account. (rencizo1) Thank You for you’re time.
    Sincerely rencizo1

I’ve always had an English Canadian account but lately most of the trailers have French audio. I wrote to Sony about it and they told me the only explanations are that I have a French account or the trailers are not available in English. These are brand new major films like Sucker Punch and Unknown, I don’t believe there aren’t English versions of these trailers available.
