Here’s the step to download your free games:
Select ‘Welcome Back Free PS3 Game 1′ and click on ‘Get Now’
Press circle to go back and select your first free game
Return to the Welcome Back page and select ‘Welcome Back Free PS3 Game 2′ and click on ‘Get Now’
Press circle to go back and select your second free game
Go to the XMB(tm) to play your free games
Make sure to complete the download of each title all the way otherwise you’ll have to go into account management>transaction management>services list>SCEA Promotions to download the games.
I find it ridiculous that sony will not offer the welcome back package to someone who traded his 360 in for a ps3 during the blackout and continued to keep it waiting a month patiently for it to come back on. Sony if you read this i have to say i have no faith in you guys, i personally think you are about making money and saving as much as possible which is why you wont give this to faithful gamers like myself during the blackout. so wrong. you guys have so much to fix.

To those having problems with Welcome Back. Best suggestion is to wait at least a day.
The reason for the errors is that millions of people are trying to redeem the same content as you.
The “Servers” that allow you to download these things are flooded with so many people causing errors.
Just wait a bit and you’ll get your stuff.
You can still get your stuff now but you’ll have to fight with the error codes until it works.
To those that had their welcome back pages “disappear”:
Go to the XMB and under the PlayStation Network column, go to Account Management>Transaction Management>Services List>SCEA Promotions to download the game for that first slot.
For PlayStation Plus:
Account Management>Transactions Management>Service List>PlayStation Plus to activate.
These instructions are only if you got an error while redeeming the free games/plus through the store and had the pages disappear.
@107 No, the reason for the error is the freaking server maintenance. People who have no option but to use Media Go are getting shafted because of Sony’s piss-poor planning.
hi, when i went to welcome back offers i went to click one and it said error.i left it and it wast there any more i dont have any of offers now besides the playstaion plus and the theme. please fix there errors and allow me to have these offers again

It’s great that the store is back up and what not… But I bought a card today and I can’t get the value on it. It’s activated, but keeps giving me the same “ERROR” Message… Also, whenever I try to get on the store, it sometimes says “ERROR” Any suggestions?

Im not happy, with the way you have been with me for some time now. I ratter tell you, than to have you find out from another person. I have been in-fact haveing a closer relationship with XBOX. SORRY. I know we have been in great status for a very long time and I could truely say I rahter play with you than xbox. After you decided to go away for a while and leave me all alone, I dont know if I could ever trust you again. I have decided is best for both to be realistic with each other and face the facts. You are not a good gameing counsel anymore like xbox, and you will not buy be back with some cheap games and movies.
it wont let me get my free game and when i tried to get my first game it said error 80710D36 and then i tried again later and one of my free game options disappeared. can you guys tell me what to do or fix this PLEASE!

what gives, was able to get the playstation plus and one of the games, but was unable to get the second game, come on playstation, showing I already claimed both games but only one game showing up in my downloads. Check the download dates so you guys don’t try saying I already recieved it, already own one of the games on the list

People, chill out already! This is what happens when 20 million people try to access the store at the same time. Free content is available until early July. PSN was down for a month, a few more days, perhaps hours, to get your free games isn’t going to hurt you. Play something else for the time being.
lol, I didn’t even see everyone was complaining. It’s too bad we don’t have more games to choose from but I guess we can’t complain since they’re free.
