Starting soon, the PlayStation Network will be inaccessible for several hours for maintenance. The server maintenance performed at this time represents a crucial step in the full restoration for PSN, including the PlayStation Store.
During this maintenance period, users will be unable to sign in to PSN, though those that are already logged in should be able to remain online.
Resumption of full PlayStation Network service is still on track for this week in most regions.
Thank you once again for your patience as we work to return PSN to the highest level of service.
I haven’t heard or read anything about the welcome back package or anything for that part of the world
Im sure they will release something though as soon as the store comes fully online in that part of the world

umm I already have it and i can tell you this games is super addictive.. its awesome for the first couple of gameplays but not much after..
Infamous is amazing but can be a bit difficult to plat if that’s your gig

Yeah I need to deactivate my old PS3, I could never DL anything from the PSN Video Store since I changed PS3s.
E-Mails never worked either. Not sure what the 800 # is either.
I usually use OnDemand, but still want the option, you know?

Also, “_return_ PSN to the highest level of service”???? Seriously?? I believe a decent browser, cross game chat, protection from hacker intrusion, and good PR would help constitute the highest level of service to which one could _return_.
Perhaps this should read “return PSN to its previous state, though this time we will update our firewalls, kernels, and SQL servers, and hire a real network security team.” As it is, saying the PSN of six weeks ago was the highest level of service is like making the high jump bar max out at two feet.
I really hope this “maintenance time” is not code for, “AHHHHHH! we just got hacked again!!!”
