  • How about a countdown for the Sony E3 conference here in the blog? XD

  • Anybody else remember printing out pictures on old printers and all the “pixels” were just different letters? That’s old school!

  • @allentrill…Yes we are the ones that defined the term “gamer” and the gaming industry..Gaming was all but dead in the early 80’s till we were introduced the first NES…

  • Yeah and when monochrome was state of the art.

  • Dissapointing but I’ll live… Yeah it’s unfortunate that the PS Store has been down for so long but we don’t pay for the store (Unless your a PS+ user) you pay for the things you buy on the store… They’re also giving us two games for free (four if you have a PSP too I think) and you’re not losing any time on your PS+ account. Microsoft? Uh… I can’t believe that it’s necessary to point people to the crap Microsoft has pulled. I’m not a Sony fanboy, I know people are gonna say that… Sony has done some things that have really ticked me off… (taking out backwards compatibility on PS3s is the biggest one) but theyre still far ahead of Microsoft. Do you really think they’d be giving you games for free for a service you don’t pay for? Of course not… because for one thing, there ARE no MS services you don’t pay for. You want something from Microsoft youre gonna pay them. Usually about 3 times as much as it’s worth. If they gave you anything for a wait like this it’d probably be an avatar bundle or something stupid no one really cares about.

  • @Deathspear666
True, because of the video game crash. Watch, this is the start of another video game crash most likely, with all this happening, with the 3DS just came out and now other system is coming from nintendo this year, the NGP from sony is coming… that will waste customers money and they wont buy stuff. So there ya go

  • @RMorr50912..Damn those printers were loud too..that evil sound is in my head now thx lmao

  • LionsguardAgrias

    Ha…I think you’re right again Deathspear666
It’s like a badge of honor! After all we endured the crash in the 80’s.

  • Well F### Them
    i just sold my ps3 for a 360

  • what about the old PC sounds. Like when you turn it on, theres the button click. Then you hear the floppy drive make that grind sound. Then the computer thudding from the hard drive.

  • Makes you wish you could claim royalties every time someone said i am a real gamer…lol But seriously ty for letting me remember the past it helps alot. you guys have fun and GL SONY.

  • @Vikings9104
I highly dought that. And if you did, thats dumb and another thing the only reason your saying that is so you can get them to turn the store on.

  • @ccrogers15..Nintendo should have done it right the first time w/the Wii..and the 3DS well not much i can say about that 3D brick lmao..I think the NGP will do great as long as the launch games can give it a good push..

  • LionsguardAgrias

Ah yes the crash. I remember it well. One day everything is fine and them boom…gone.
Makes me mad every time I see an old E.T. cart.

  • @LionsguardAgrias..lol right

  • a cant wait sony woooooooooooo

  • And as far as Sony goes w/the release of that damn Playstation phone..OMG..WTF were they thinking?? lol That is as bad as when Nintendo made the Power Glove or the Virtua Boy or hell even the monster Sega CD/32x lmao

  • Vikings9104@ good job and you are not alone
I know a lot of people that are going to do the same
See you on Xbox Live because we have MONEYYYY

  • @Deathspear666
The 3DS is a BIG JOKE. Its not 3D at all. I played a tech thingy at gamestop. It sucks. Not much better then the DSiXL.

  • its about time but thanks psn!!

  • @LuiguiPR
to be honest, i have a 360 and can get Xbox Live and will pay for it with no problem. But you should not have to pay to play online. See you later. Also anominous the people who hacked stuff has a blog, a secret blog at nabble and i seen it. Look it up. It was not supposed to be seem but xbox live will be hacked. So go on the RAG somewhere else because sony dont care if you use a 360, look at all the money they will get from the PSP, PS3, PS2 and NGP. Not to mention the VAIO and stuff. See ya.

  • look, the escalation map pack is coming on june 3 (i think) , will it be up by then? :/

  • remember the free games that you had to line command type from magazines? :D

  • @ccrogers15…Thats EXACTLY what i think of it…a glorified DSiXL lol

  • @Saber02 ..Sure do :D

  • lol saber02. And look at the comments here, if the PSN is not up now, which its 8:45 PM Here, almost june! They said the end of the month! The end of the month is the 31st. I dont see PSN yet. So dont trust sony with setting dates. I like fallout new vegas and i havent got the add-ons released while PSN has been down so i gotta wait. So your not alone.

  • and just as i expected sony gives us a GIANT MIDDLE FINGER and makes us wait i know you guys are doing your best to restore the service but cmon man

  • 8 bit 8″ floppy disks, oh yeah

  • my estimate: it wont be on till july 1st. THEN the PSN will go down again because it will be “hacked” Then it wont be back till september. THEN in 2012 the PS4 will be out and PSN for PS3 will be “hacked” and just be taken offline. Then you will be forced into a PS4.

  • Man! Saber you’re right. typing games out of mags and finally getting a disk drive! back then dealing with kb was great. I remember my first pc only had an 8 gig hard drive!

  • There probably wont be an announcement about a PS4 till maybe E3 2013 but by then it wont matter cause “supposedly” we will not be here after 12/21/2012 lmao

  • @ ccrogers15

So let’s see: even though you’re a little high school student using a hand-me-down-computer from your mommy/daddy which still runs old ass XP when Windows 8 is around the corner and 7 is better than XP ever was, somehow you’re a “computer and server expert” and can get in to see ‘secret blogs belonging to anonymous”.

Seriously, you’re just as annoying (if not more than) LuigiPR.

  • notice sony never delivered on the date they say they will

  • I’m expecting the return date to be pushed again and again and again, until like 2029.

  • amazing i am glad , i been wanting to downloads some things, i want to download infamous and wanted to buy modnation , cheers Sony keep doing that nice job, people think all this is easy work for u guys but its not, i am happy to have that store back i really want it , nice Sony, InFamous HERE I COME!!!! =3.

  • Sony never promised it would be up by today they were targeting today as the date.

  • WELL ITS TOO BAD NO STORE YET ..

IT LOOKS LIKE WE STILL ALL GOTTA WAIT SOME MORE AND GO BACK TO MULTIPLAYER AT LEAST OUT OF EVERYTHING IT STILL DOES THAT

  • @RMorr50912

Your first PC only had an 8 gig hard drive?! Dude, my first PC was 16bit color with a brand new just released 40MB full size hard drive. It cost me an extra $800 just to get the 40MB instead of the 20MB. The total cost of the 80286 computer was $3300. It took every penny I had to buy it.

My very first computer was a 2Kb Sinclair that you connected to your TV. I spent hours typing a program called ‘life’ into memory.

I totally loved the text adventures on the TI99 computers.

Care to guess how old I am?

  • I would guess in your 40s

  • remember when 56k was the shiznit?

  • So is it going to update Thursday?

  • FINALLY…I WILL BE ABLE TO USE THE ROCK BAND MUSIC STORE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!

  • UNLESS IF ITS A NEW GAME THAT I JUST GOT THAT REQUIRES A CODE TO PLAY MULTIPLAYER STILL GOTTA WAIT TO FOR THAT THOUGH OF COURSE.. WONT BE PLAYN THAT ONLINE FOR AWHILE

  • @1529 no one knows when the next update will be

  • Is the bloody store up that means?!!?

  • granted no one promised today the store would be up…but i feel like they didn’t make it clear enough that they were only expecting it to come online today, not promising. I’ve been supporting Sony this whole time, because i realize that it takes a boat-load of effort to get this stuff up and running…but i’ll be honest, i feel a little cheated since it’s not up today like they expected it to be. But, still…they have been doing well in trying to fix it and keeping us updated constantly so…i guess i dont have much room to speak. please Sony, have the store up when you’ve said this time? Love you guys :D

  • It is a miss leading but then again how many of these suits think like a regular comsumer any more? The one thing they should be taught is when talking to a customer never use corp lingo unless you know they understand it.

  • @LuiguiPr

    Im back haha

  • @chjwatson The first one I actually bought for me. That thing was rated top power pc for two months!! First computer I had was the Vic-20. You know that old 8 Gig drive still works! They don’t make ’em like they used to!

  • Why weren’t these security measures in place to begin with? Hopefully the servers don’t crash when the store is back online.
