Starting today, PlayStation Network and Qriocity account holders in the United States can begin the enrollment process for the identity theft protection program by visiting http://us.playstation.com/news/consumeralerts/identity-theft-protection/. We are also notifying customers of the enrollment landing page via email, which you will receive in your inbox this week.
As previously announced, Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Network Entertainment have made arrangements with Debix to offer the AllClear ID PLUS identity theft protection program to PlayStation Network and Qriocity customers who are concerned about identity theft following the criminal cyber attack on the network. AllClear ID PLUS is a premium identity protection service that uses advanced technology to deliver alerts to help protect you from identity theft. The service also provides identity theft insurance coverage and hands-on help from expert fraud investigators. Sony has arranged, at no charge to eligible PlayStation Network and Qriocity account holders, for twelve months of this service to be provided by Debix to those who choose to enroll.
In order to be eligible, account holders must be residents of the United States with active accounts as of April 20, 2011.

Nobody wants to read a bunch of people speculating dates, times, ideas or rumors. Look what list ening to rumored got us??? May 24 store back up! The ones that keep asking are doing it in the blind hope that Sony might actually post some news of substance.
I am not sure when the store is coming back…i have heard a bunch of different answers. I am curious as to why i cant see how much is in my wallet. Any idea???

First of all i wouild like to say hello to everyone.I have been looking at this blog since the first day PSN went down.But now i am tired of waiting my favorite game is Fight Night Champion and you have to have a online pass to play the online part of the game whitch is the part i play i would like to know when the store will be up so i dont have to keep jumping on my girlfriend computer to see if i can get some sort of idea when it would be up. The crazy part is i have never touched a computer my whole life and im 32 years old but now it seems like thats all i do since the PSN went down.

Look i saw this on G4, x-play, and i have seen this online before. Now there is a new DLC for Dead Space 2 coming out on June 2nd ok Tuesday is the 31st now can you do the math. They said that the Store will be up by the end of the month Tuesday the 31st and new content will be out on June 2 as they are doing two updates a week. Now if im wrong then i hope everyone hangs SONY up on Cross. I know that i will!!
Note: This is based off what I saw and heard not anything that SONY posted but the publisher of Dead Space. Just wanted to allso say that from everything that i have seen and heard about DLC’s that are going to be coming out i do beleave that the Store will be up at the least by the 2nd but dont quote me on it!
@1009 you can’t see the wallet becaue the store from what I’ve seen shows the ammount. Now here we go. If you read the article on 1up it does show an update saying that Atari know there will be other games ahead of them. Which means if the store is up they may not be in on that date. With little information people will speculate and try to figure out what is going on. Provided no answer from Sony it will happen. In terms of giving a date that wasn’t a good move on their part but they were trying. I say it was not a good move because it gave false hope and ticked people off. However we are all human, even the folks at Sony and do make errors. Folks the only thing you can do right now is sit and wait. Read a book, go out doors, try to rego through another level and find some thing you missed.

i know they arent doing this on purpose for the fact they dont make money when the store is down at least for the stores sake longer its down the more money they lose good business sense and i know il be called out as an idiot but whatever
Why do they keep doing Madden 11 Ultimate Team deals with no Playstation Store? We have been missing out an all of the good deals since Easter. I hope they re run all of these deals so us PS3 users can get some of these cards? Get the Store up!
@lilcanuck Yeah I think you’re right about that. They’re doing everything they can to bring the store up ASAP. I know I want it up because I want my inFamous. They’re working around the clock people. It takes time to restore a worldwide online entertainment system. and they also want to make ABSOULUTELY sure that no credit/debit card info was stolen. They also may be ready to bring the store up, and are about to inform people that they may be down for maitenence. I miss the PlayStation Store as much as the next guy but, after seeing what’s happened, I can wait until they’re sure they’re ready to bring the store up.

Honestly, if everyone was so worried about credit card info. being stolen, then why did those dumb butts (can’t cuss on the comments) put their info on PSN anyway? You know there is such a thing as a PSN card! Get your lazy butt off the couch, drive 10-20 mins. to the nearest Wal-Mart and pick one up. Sony just needs to get the PS Store up and running again. Escalation map pack coming soon so you better hurry.

Try living 45 minutes away from one. Thankfully I can buy one from best buy online and get it sent to me. I only had my cc in case I needed a small amount. Not doing that again.
Come on Sony. I just cant wait for The PlayStation Store to be up couse they get me DCUO for birthday that was yesterday and so obviously i need the PlayStation Store. I hope it comes on the weekend.. and i cant get DCUO for PC Couse my PC its too slow and thats why i think its better for PS3.(Well for me)…. :)

I have both the ps3 and xbox 360, why not have the best of both worlds:) and yes 360 has the better online component.
Downloads are faster, updates are done in seconds better connectivity, i use psn for my fighting game(cuz of controller) and live for first person shooters and everything else
Nearest town is a college town and those are a rip off as well.
