Starting today, PlayStation Network and Qriocity account holders in the United States can begin the enrollment process for the identity theft protection program by visiting http://us.playstation.com/news/consumeralerts/identity-theft-protection/. We are also notifying customers of the enrollment landing page via email, which you will receive in your inbox this week.
As previously announced, Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Network Entertainment have made arrangements with Debix to offer the AllClear ID PLUS identity theft protection program to PlayStation Network and Qriocity customers who are concerned about identity theft following the criminal cyber attack on the network. AllClear ID PLUS is a premium identity protection service that uses advanced technology to deliver alerts to help protect you from identity theft. The service also provides identity theft insurance coverage and hands-on help from expert fraud investigators. Sony has arranged, at no charge to eligible PlayStation Network and Qriocity account holders, for twelve months of this service to be provided by Debix to those who choose to enroll.
In order to be eligible, account holders must be residents of the United States with active accounts as of April 20, 2011.

Update: Atari has clarified what it meant with Joystiq. It said, “Our recent tweet was not intended to speak to Sony’s service coming back online or being delayed, but to inform our fans that we expect Daggerdale to be placed in PSN’s publishing queue behind other titles that were meant to launch during the service outage and that it might not hit the May 31 date.”

It’s because if they gave you one and didn’t fall through on that target date you would freak. You know programming security, firewalls and implementing countermeasures takes time. You are talking MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of lines of code needed to be re-written. Has anyone in here ever created and online store? I seriously doubt it. You just don’t go, “Well, here’s a new firewall, everything should be fine and dandy.” Their target date, WAS GIVIN TWO F****** WEEKS AGO. It’s the 31st. TARGET DATE OF MAY 31ST.

firstly the coding isnt in the game base that there working on so alone there you have failed in your comment. Please dont bother speaking of things you do not know. And btw our game had over 3thousand users globally and we had a max of about 3 pages of coding for the base of the client and maybe 4-5 more pages with the rest of the game design on it. @lilcanuck Most of us people ranting are only wanting updates on whats going on and some kids who are begging to get there free games. The problem i have about it being done is the fact that I have to see my kids faces everyday i tell them that i still cant buy there game even tho i had already put the money on there PS user. Do you know what its like to see a kid get let down every single day becuase of somthing you cant control even tho your money had already been transfered and claimed by a big business? Id hope not cause its very sad and makes me feel bad that my kids have to suffer over this.

Not millions lines of code. I could see a couple thousands maybe even few tens of thousands but no where near millions and secondly Most coders seperate there coding Meaning they shouldnt have to edit the whole set of coding unless somthing extremely wrong in the design factor that cant support your system and at most times Those edits to fix that can either be added to your already set coding or your coding can slightly be edited so that your future coding doesnt run into the same errors.

Yea the sad thing about my major is its methods are always rapidly changing which can make keeping up a bit of a hassle. But as these methods get introduced coding gets simpler and more clearified down the long run.

me i took electrical engineering and that was not fun at first till my instructor told me to slow down and go step by step and follow the circuits than got easier
LOL that was the base client please read before you post. In total it was 10-15 pages top and secondly java scripting is written mostly on .txt and then compiled into a java file. and not sophisticated? You ever played runescape sir? not sophisticated HA ever tried coding a game client and the server base? Think not. Yet another thing thats great about java you can take one line of coding to create what they call system commands which after those are made you can use those system commands to simplify your coding and make it loads shorter. Sorry but ur logic still isnt there. My game was easily just as well designed as RS2 which RS2 is rated as one of the top 10 mmorpg on pc to date and one of the most widely played. Sorry but yet again stop posting cause u have no idea of anything ur speaking of.

Also btw .txt allow you to basicly write dam near endless lines of code without having to move down to another line. (which most my game edits where .txt based the compiled into a active java file)Most times not that easy as one line of coding becuase at most time you have to write sub sections That way the game can properly understand fully what you want it exactly to do.
