Starting today, PlayStation Network and Qriocity account holders in the United States can begin the enrollment process for the identity theft protection program by visiting http://us.playstation.com/news/consumeralerts/identity-theft-protection/. We are also notifying customers of the enrollment landing page via email, which you will receive in your inbox this week.
As previously announced, Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Network Entertainment have made arrangements with Debix to offer the AllClear ID PLUS identity theft protection program to PlayStation Network and Qriocity customers who are concerned about identity theft following the criminal cyber attack on the network. AllClear ID PLUS is a premium identity protection service that uses advanced technology to deliver alerts to help protect you from identity theft. The service also provides identity theft insurance coverage and hands-on help from expert fraud investigators. Sony has arranged, at no charge to eligible PlayStation Network and Qriocity account holders, for twelve months of this service to be provided by Debix to those who choose to enroll.
In order to be eligible, account holders must be residents of the United States with active accounts as of April 20, 2011.

store is importnat PSN cards are not free and people have DLC with games like L.A. Noire that need to be used before you reach max level in the game..stop complaining about people that are complaining..we have just as much right to complain as you do to kiss sonys ass.

360 was hack in its first 4 months, i know this cause I was affected by it.
also it had a blackout like Sony but it was shorter cause MS rushed themselfs to fix everything.
Unlike Sony, Sony is taking their time cause they wanna make sure everything is right before they put the Store online.
Would you rather the put it up today and have it go offline from getting hacked due to bad coding or traffic overload cause they weren’t ready or that they taken their time fully prepared the store for us and against hackers.
Remember this Sony was only late to the market in 2006 cause they spent time properly beta-testing EVERY aspect of their consoles and thats why the original fat models back in the day had less failure rate then 360.
Can we at least get some info for the store? I need to use some of my codes and buy the new Fallout New Vegas DLC and prepare for Escalation.
I think that if Nintendo, Soy, and Microsoft put their head together, they could make a super system and make a fortune… But I don’t see that coming EVER. Its like Sonys on one side and Microsofts on the other and Nintendos just watching on the sidelines which I think is a good idea. Its best not to start anything or we won’t have Sony OR Microsoft.

When they finally open the store, it’s going to shut down again anyway. All of the people wanting their undeserved freebies, and the people who just want content they’ve been waiting on, will all be rushing to the store. The store will experience an overload of traffic and go kaput. I really hope Sony is prepared for this, and has some kind of traffic control in place. I wish they would hold off on all the Welcome Back crap until after the missed content is on the store. Then they can worry about the Welcome Back Package.
@stmdpsn1 like i said i have both systems i play online on xbox the most the only reason i am pissed is because i bought the ps3 version for kratos and have been waiting a month to redeem my codes for MK if i would have known that they wouldnt have the store or online i would have bought it for the 360.

I wish others would wait too, though most people aren’t going to wait let alone even aware they’ll have 30 days to download the stuff. Simply because most of them can’t read the actual blog post, or read anything the store may show them when it’s back about how long they have to download the stuff.

Yep Call of Duty, or as I like to call the Ball of Dookie games, are just as bad as the sports games that come out every year. Same game, with marginal improvements. People still buy those games up and I don’t get it. I guess people prefer to be spoon fed bad games. I will admit though the Modern Warfare 3 trailer is awesome, sadly the game won’t be anywhere near as cool as the trailer itself is.

I want Honest Hearts too. It’s sad that game developers who release DLC, can’t make it possible to release it through their means, and not depend on the PS Store, or the Xpaper Weight Market Place etc.

Here’s hoping sony keeps to the 31st of may deadline.
I hope they stick to the May 31st deadline too, but I’m not too optimistic about them actually being able to do it. I say the 2nd week of June we’ll have the store.

I waited 2 years before coming online in the Playstation Online family, I went 2 whole months without PSN when my original unit YLoD, I survived nearly 3 weeks of PSN blackout this year.
