Starting today, PlayStation Network and Qriocity account holders in the United States can begin the enrollment process for the identity theft protection program by visiting http://us.playstation.com/news/consumeralerts/identity-theft-protection/. We are also notifying customers of the enrollment landing page via email, which you will receive in your inbox this week.
As previously announced, Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Network Entertainment have made arrangements with Debix to offer the AllClear ID PLUS identity theft protection program to PlayStation Network and Qriocity customers who are concerned about identity theft following the criminal cyber attack on the network. AllClear ID PLUS is a premium identity protection service that uses advanced technology to deliver alerts to help protect you from identity theft. The service also provides identity theft insurance coverage and hands-on help from expert fraud investigators. Sony has arranged, at no charge to eligible PlayStation Network and Qriocity account holders, for twelve months of this service to be provided by Debix to those who choose to enroll.
In order to be eligible, account holders must be residents of the United States with active accounts as of April 20, 2011.

some people really need to calm down. nobodys giving a set date theyre all speculations. there is more to life than just gaming, like watching others fight back and forth in a blog >:) another thing, i think if they got enough complaints from all the people who already have those games they would come up with some kind of compensation. to all the people who keep saying “whens the store going to be up?”, i think its obvious nobody here knows and playstation doesnt answer blog posts. maybe try e-mail? i doubt there will be a straight answer, maybe they dont even know when everything will be fixed.

Not all the blogs are sony! And yet every blog I’ve read has someone yelling about the store. Most of the blogs are from developers not sony, and not all the sony ones are from the people working on the problem. If you want to talk to the people that are working on the store then send them a message.
My goal would be to get people joined together agains all the bull Sony has put us through but that is impossable with people like you guys and thats why sony gets away with it.

Not stooping to your leveling anyway little man, I’m here for Sony news not for someone who acts like a underage backwater hick.
I went 2 years without being online, cause thats how long it took me before I decided to use it. I ratherSony took their time and properly tested their Store so it work, as oppose rushing it and having it going offline due to a half-ass coding job.
If Sony takes their time its cause their doing their actual jobing of properly testing it out like they did with the PS3 thats why it was late of the market in 06 and why it was better. Think on that people.

hey sony i have a question.its totally irrelavant but i think its worth it.ok i own a 120gb ps3 and it has never gave me problems before but ever since the new 3.61 update my ps3 has been overheating and freezing constantly and it kind of pisses me off because i want to play.for example i turn on my ps3 when i get home from school start up BO and the second i connect to a match my ps3 freezes on the spot and its not every 3 hours it every 3 freakin minutes!!my friend told me there is a new update coming in relevance to that problem if this is true i want a response and i want it now sony.not after breakfast not after dinner i want it now.thanks & please respond

xbox had the same problem a several years ago and they were down for six months.

I have both a PSP (Might get PS3 Soon) an Xbox 360, and a Wii. I am a true gamer. I’m not a fanboy to one single system, I think all systems have their ups and downs, as every single person on this planet does. Like I said earlier, be happy with what you have.
