We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- LittleBigPlanet
- Super Stardust HD
- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

My family has used your products even before I was born (I was born in the early 80s), and I have had great respect for your organization until the last couple years. This recent incident only adds to my discontent with your organization as a customer.
There is obviously the situation where a customer such as myself, have owned almost everything on your welcome back list of games. This means the games have absolutely no value to a customer like this. What can you offer us instead?
PSN+ subscribers receive 60 days complimentary service. How about the missed days during the outage? Why is there no compensation listed?

As for my comment on your offer. I simply think that the offer of infamous, released in 2009, and little big planet, released in 2008 are not satisfactory. If customers own or have own these games they have no value in regards to this offer. Secondly infamous 2 is coming in short order, can I say marketing ploy? Little Big Planet 2 was recently released, and I don’t have statistics, but my thought is a great majority of your user base have moved on to LBP 2. It’s an old title, and again the marketing ploy thing comes in play (not so much for this one though). The questionable content that is shown on this list can only lead me to believe that Sony is less than sincere regarding this outage. I know many people may disagree with me, but at the very least Sony should have held a public survey to determine customer expectations.

For those people asking for DLC for games like MArvel vs. Capcom and Black OPs, Sony has no right to give away another companies merchandise. DLC comes from the companies that make the games and sony cannot distribute without the say-so from Capcoma dn Activision respectively!
keep up the work, sony. please put back on the PSN store so all us fans can use the PSN plus on content like the jap imports for the PS1. ill probably enjoy mod nation racers for psp, and ill give another shot of little big planet, wasnt that hard to learn, but i guess i can get the hang of it again. at least yall are doing something for us like giving us non PS+ members a free month, and im very grateful

Secondly, the fact that the titles listed only cover Sony based gaming studios calls into question the sincerity of this offer. From a business standpoint this is the most cost effective way to calm the millions of discontent customers. The board of directors made a great business decision, absolutely reassuring to a board member to see. Now from the customer’s point of view: very few choices, little freedom, and old titles. I still have not forgotten that Sony failed to protect customer information, nor will I ever. I will unfortunately never trust Sony networks every again. On the positive side I’ve learned a great lesson here. I’m never going to use my credit card on your service again. If I need to buy something, use a PSN card, that way I don’t have to give you my personal information. Back to my point: If Sony sincerely regrets this outage they would survey the customers and ask their opinions, and offer something more universal.
I am no sheep, and it is very clear that Sony’s commitment to their customers is less than sincere.

While I’m happy to see Sony trying to give back here, what if one was to already own all offered Ps3 titles? I don’t even own a psp! I’m not going to gripe too much about it, but the way things are being handled are not exactly keen.
To be clear, I think the games you are offering are fantastic.
I only feel left out of the fun since I already own the 2 games I have interest in so, disappointing, but a good night sleep and some MAG should remedy my sadness.

Hey, so I don’t have a PSP but I’ve been really thinking about getting one. Now would definitely be the time, knowing I could get 2 free games. I’m just wondering if that would work for me. If I bought one and got it connected to my account, would I still be able to get the games, or am I out of luck there?
