We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

not happy with the welcome back package, i don’t play top down view games, generally they suck, so no to Dead Nation, no to Super Stardust Hd. Wipeout HD + Fury is awesome, but i already own it. inFamous($20) & LittleBigPlanet($20), seriously, i’d rather have a 40 psn credit. On the topic of services, 90 days free/credit playstation plus & Music Unlimited Premium. My solution 50 or 100 dollar psn credit. 99% of my gaming is multiplayer fps! so this hurt.
You people who want a free map pack for Ball of Dookie: Whack Ops are delusional if you think you are getting anything free out of Activi$ion. They know they already have you hook, line, and sinker. They know they can spoon feed you the same game every year with marginal improvements over the previous year’s title. They also know that despite the network having been down, you’re going to buy every game and every map pack. They want your money, therefore you can quit asking for free Whack Ops map packs, because you aren’t going to be getting anything free out of them.

My ps3 keeps freezing after I updated. Everytime I play black ops, I finish the match and it freeze. Can someone tell me if the same is happenig to then or is just my big boy f#$%ing up.

Wow. An N64 overplayed classic and a few games which looks like they were designed for the PSX, but didn’t sell well in 1992. And Little Big Planet, which everyone already owns who has any interest in it. Why not just offer the $2 space shooter? That one probably outweighs all of those games and it only costs a buck or two on the PSN store.

Rats, Europe is getting the same except for R&C:Booty – have it, finished it, lol. Hmmmm maybe the Asia market will get something I don’t have. What I would like the most, is a the free extended warranty, lol, mind you I think they would rather phase out my old 60GB launch unit, then fix it, lol – if the thing ever dies. Other than the fan making a little more noise then normal (mind you I could always replace that myself), it keeps on, keeping on, lol.
