We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- Super Stardust HD
- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

again, map packs for Call Of Duty wont happen. not even a possibility, Activision wont give you a dime. their business practices are sketchier & sketchier as the years pass.

This is a really great deal for those that did not purchase those games. I have the 5 PS3 games, so not much there for me. I will gladly grab a couple of those PSP games though. I was hoping for Outland, but I’m happy for everyone else. Thanks for fixing this mess Sony. It’s appreciated.

Sports Games arent owned by sony, they immediately get tossed out too. other companies wont be chipping in.

for example infamous if we have to game on disk then we play the downloaded game of that do we still have our trophies and stuff?

Since Sony had to rebuild the network and put out new firmware, I would rather see cross game chat and the ability to change your name instead of free games that I already own (and others I don’t want to).

Just curious, but since i have those games, could I get either map pack for ops when they come out? I think this would appeal to most of the ps3 users. Also, if you dont have inFamous, get it. it is beast! :D
I thought I saw a question about it but I guess I was wrong. I have both a PS3 and a PSP. Would anyone know for sure if people like me can get 2 games for each the psp an ps3? or is it just 1 psp and 1 ps3? or is it to early to know for sure? thanks in advance.
Honestly, as a loyal PlayStation gamer for over a decade, with multiple running ps3’s, and a PSP in my home, I’m a bit disappointed Sony. I don’t have Dead Nation but I have everything else. If your concerned at all about the long-term core audience I would re-think your choices as these are mostly 2+ years old games and while great games, they are games many of us have already worn out. As you can tell I feel like this is not an apology for loosing my identity and credit information, but a cheap buy off to keep us quiet. As a early adopter (still have my 60gb ps3) and historically I’ve also been a PlayStation diehard I will choose my entry into the next generation much more cautiously.
As a piece of advice, I would have added a monetary PlayStation Network value as a option to us who have your main items. But there in-lies another part of why I believe these items were selected, they all have paid for their own costs already. LBP already has a sequel (I have it as well), Infamous 2 i’ve pre-ordered, Super Stardust HD a PSN launch title. I could keep going on but I’m waiting on your next move.
I would like someone to answer for this dis-respect in the coming weeks, but I don’t think you have it in you.

These are great games but this Welcome Back program is not really fair to the Playstation’s and PSN’s most loyal users. I have purchased all of these games and am a member of PS+ so the only thing I am really getting is an extra 60 days of PS+. I have Infamous and LBP on disc so I know that could be hard to prove to Sony that I have them but I think they should at least give the monetary value of the three DLC games to users that already have purchased them. This money could just be downloaded to the user’s PSN account.
Again, I think it is great that Sony is giving us anything at all because in reality it wasn’t their fault this occurred. And I am happy for all the users that don’t have these games that they’ll get to try these, but I just think the people who have already purchased these products should be rewarded too. It seems like the ones who have given the most money to Sony are the ones getting the least through the Welcome Back program.
Anyway, that’s my two cents. Glad PSN is back up. Have a good one!!
Sony, I was beginning to worry that you were going to just screw us over with just a month of Playstation+, which in my opinion is a worthless service, but by giving us two of those games, you have made all this waiting worthwhile, and have again locked me in as a loyal customer. i have a question im trying to get on playstation home but it keeps saying ‘there has been a problem downloading content’ what can i do my internet is working great
Thx Sony for helping everyone out with these games. But sadly i own all of these amazing games. I wish u had Warhawk on that list since i havent got it since i heard that was a possible game to be chosen. Its the thought that counts.
