Dear Sony,
hey, im wondering…..are you still trying to get sony playstation network shop back online? i still cant access the store still…..and im wondering…can i ask the 2 games and can u put it on my download list now? or do i have to wait until the 30 days and then i can get them free still? cause if its possible….heres the 2 games i would want from the 4 games you said we all could get free
1. little big planet (psp)
2. ModNation racers
thats pretty cool for what you’ve guys done for us and still are doing for us, thanks and no problem on waiting for the playstation network being back on…….
Is it worth it to get LBP if I already have LBP2?
thats whats up
this games is per account or ps3 system??
What happens if it says that i can’t download the software. What do i do?
this is dumb they are giving us old games
Well I’m a little ticked, i already have lbp, infamous, and wipeout. Thanks Sony, but a few more games to choose from, even cheap ones would be nice.
Wow! Thanks so much Sony! I was thinking we were going to get PSN games but full games? THANK YOU SONY I LOVE YOU!
To all the hardcore SONY fans….
We get it! You have all the games that they want to give out for free. Listen the company won’t be able to please everyone and besides you all make up prob a small % of the overall population of people who do own a PS3, PSP or both. Sometimes that’s the breaks, but hey you could always trade in the game (if you still own it) and dl it off the store i guess
God bless you SONY
What if we already bought those games?
Great!!, My Infamous game is now pointless … and worthless
thanks anyways the only one I didn’t own is Dead Nation Thanks!!
WOW!! This is AWESOME getting Dead Nation and Super Stardust. Thanks So Much……….P.S. are we ever getting “Party Chat”?!?!?!?
Thanks Sony! I know it was hard and i appreciate you getting the network back up as soon as you did. I feel bad for people who went out and bought xboxs because they dont have free onlin andthey arent getting free games noe are they? Nice job Sony!
@1562 the stuff in lbp1 can get brought over to lbp2
To everyone who keeps asking for it:
Borderlands is owned by Gearbox and 2K Games, NOT SONY. IT IS NOT THEIRS TO GIVE OUT.
What happens if we own all but one of the PS3 and PSP games?
Are we screwed, then?
What about those of us that have all those PS3 games already?
Thank you Sony, I hope you get those hackers!
If you have both PS3 and PSP logged in to the same account do you get 2 from each list?
FINALLY
I was wondering what the list would be. THIS IS GREAT. inFAMOUS is totally my first option. i have LBP2 and not interested in wipeout…oh well, dead nation HERE I COME GUYS!
Well what a low blow to me.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
so because of my ps3 being broken I cant get anything after 30 days cause of that problem.
how about you fix my ps3 for free instead of giving me the rewards?
Does the store need to functioning for me to activate my Tiger Woods 12 online pass that came with my game?
What if you have all those games… We’re sorry the service went out unexpectedly, to compensate for that we are offering 5 games you already own. We hope this offering of nothing helps rebuild the trust we have broken. Thanks Sony.” .. whatever I wasn’t really expecting anything anyways I guess…
@Mikey_187 FREE TROPHIES MAN!!!! Ya its worth it!
Thanks Sony!!! :) I just wish if you can give us PSN users a Free “any choice” download,
Oh and My fellow PSN users, feel free to add me as a friend & I have Black Ops and World at War and my favorite: MAG I’m on Raven Industries!!! I lovePSN notXbox Live, Go Patrick Seybold
they should of really replace wipeout or supestardust with resistance 2 :/
sweeet thanx sony i cant wait to play little big planet and infamous
If anyone on Black ops is interested in a clan Add XxTDBanksxX and I will put you on the roster Thank you! Competition is this Friday so hurry before you miss out on it!
is there an expiry date per say do we hv to redeem these games by a specific date?
Great, after the chaos, was the least that you guys could do it.
So any word on when the Playstation store will be up and running again?
Instead of the “On Us” movie rental, they could give us some credit to let us pick our own movies. The games, im sure 75 percent of the playstation community have played and 30 days of playstation plus is really nothing to brag about.
Its people like all of you blindly supporting Sony that reinforces their poor decision making. You get what you pay for. oh wait no you don’t… If you actually do pay for Sony games and services you get squat and if you’re 13 years old and gameless you walk away a winner! You’re winning! This is Sony’s M.O. though. Cheap and thankless to the bitter end. Let me know how this works out for your market share Sony. God forbid you get smart and fire some executives, get some fresh people in there and steer your company in the right direction. Not everyone is in high school. Start reading between the lines Sony. Kids are not your only consumers so all the happy patting on the back you’re getting from 10 year olds on mommy’s laptop is not what you should be taking to your next share holder meeting. You guys are screwing up a big opportunity to repair your company in time for the PS4. I’m sure its just me though… Way to go Sony you’re so forward thinking *rolls eyes*
So basically being loyal and buying stuff hurts you in the end. I have all the options for “free games” except Dead Nation. So people who probably wouldn’t have spent money on the PSN now get 2 free games and I have exactly 1 game to choose, since I already spent money on the other options. How about a voucher for another game? Or maybe just extra PSN bucks in my wallet?
Again…nice thought and some seriously good games you’re offering up…but it ices out anyone who already bought those games. I love you Sony…but sometimes you hurt me. :(
Ok, InFAMOUS for me 100%. Now just one more… I have LBP2 so no need for LBP… It’s between Stardust and Dead Nation for me right now :(
When is it coming back ? got an exact dat ? O_O
@DerKapitan
You get 2 PS3 games / 2 PSP games. Each Best of is 20-30 new. So for 4 games, you are looking at 80 minimum.
this is cool! thanks Sony! i just got one question, is there going to be cross-game chat as well??
Resistance, like a ton of other titles mentioned are not owned by Sony. you can expect Sony to give out games that arent theres, now can you?
Any one here that thinks this is such a great welcome back program is just blind or stupid. Look at what they’re doing, giving us old games, so they still come out on top in the end. Why not give us LBP 2 or a new game like Duke Nukem when that comes out in a few weeks from now. As for free plus for any one that hasn’t got it now.. pointless as well, unless you plan on keeping it after your free period ends.
Duke is gearbox. would never happen.
I’ll take Dead Nation and inFAMOUS on PS3, and ModNation Racers and Killzone Liberation on PSP. Thank you!
Omg i almost bought infamous yesterday! Thank PSN god i didn’t!
no esistance is owned by sony
Thanks Sony. I knew I could count on you. I am a very loyal PSN consumer. I am very, very thankful for you trying to protect us and trying as hard as you can to bring back PSN. And also, thank you for the Welcomeback gifts, even though i already have inFamous. It sucks for my PSP though because its all the way in Canada and I wont get it back till the middle of summer. Thanks again Sony, your the best.
Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, but for the PS3, it’s easy to see how someone would already have all of those. I got Wipeout HD (-Fury) and Super Stardust vouchers with my TV set; I bought LBP (like almost everyone else). I don’t care about Dead Nation. I’ve wanted to get inFAMOUS, so I suppose it’s good that I didn’t already … but even then, I get inFAMOUS and the Fury part of Wipeout.
Similar thing with the PSP: I already have MNR and LBP. I don’t care too much about the other two, but I’ll take them.
So … I guess I was hoping for something a little better. It’s not bad, though. I’m really not complaining or whining, just giving some feedback about how I see it from my perspective.
Thank you Sony, we know you are trying to make things up to us, and we appreciate it! Wonder if it would be possible to exchange 1 free game for a free subscription to Qore??
The games look as if they are credible titles to at least give a fair chance. Thanks for the opportunity to add a few new games to my library which I will most certainly take advantage of. The movies that will be available for free renting, which I will also take advantage of. Now me not being a plus member and reading these updates on the website, I just cant help but take notice to the large amounts of people who will get as much as they can from the store and then will indefinitely become a plus member as the 30 days run out as i will be one. Sony Great Comeback.
I’m getting Dead Nation and Wipeout on the PS3 side. On the PSP side I m getting LittleBigPlanet PSP and Pursuit Force!
Cool! it’s finally up!
