We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- inFAMOUS
- LittleBigPlanet
- Super Stardust HD
- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

Here’s hoping Sony wises up and expands the selection before the store opens. After all, my PS3 came with Little Big Planet! (And I also have inFamous and Wipeout+Fury.) I bet there are many folks out there who have all of these games or simply haven’t bought them because they’re just not interested.

The only thing Sony owes me is to get the store up, so I can download Back to the Future episode 3 which I have ALREADY PAID FOR. Other than that I’m not interested in the Welcome Back Program, nor do I feel they owe me or us anything for free apart from making the network function at 100% again.

me and my girlfriend(wattster47) live together and share a ps3. we both own PSP’s . How will this play out for us. i think others have asked this too. i look forward to getting info on this subject.

60 day PS+ extension and I’m probably going to go for Infamous and the PSP LittleBigPlanet downloads. (I have most of the other options)

Well, that’s nice for most folks I guess. I actually own all of the PS3 games being offered for free already and I’m a Plus Subscriber so I’m not getting a whole lot out of this but hey, whatever. Glad for those of you who can take advantage of the free games!

Identity Theft protection should be REQUIRED, not considered a bonus. Also, why would I trade in my hard copy to only get a few dollars, and then take up more space on my HD to download a game I’ve already owned! PSN credit would be a much better “Welcome Back” package.
Thy should offer something that ALL users can make use of, not just a select few.

Please don’t delay the store coming back up for the bureaucratic red tape the Japanese government is making Sony cut through, to get the network up in Japan.
What about the real stuff undelivered previously? Anyone ever heard about cross game chat and others expected things undelievered yet because of infrastructure… A new data center is not new infrastructure??? I’m probably the only one that doesn’t feel appreciated! I’ve bought my PS3 on day1, I own a wii and a 360 too. If this is the best, my ps3 is no more no1… Since I own most consoles, first time buyers are asking me wich to buy and no1 spot is elsewhere now.
I’m happy that it’s back, but was expecting really better than that.
