This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.

- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.

why is everyone thanking them? thats crap! 2 games big deal…. i dont even want any of those games! How many people will really download and play those games VS how many peoples creditcards and other personal information was stolen?
My creditcard had to be cancelled because SONY didnt do enough to secure MY information and someone was using it Europe. Yea im not responsible for unauthorized charges but that is not the issue. SONY didn’t do enough to keep our information safe. We all have to follow their policies and rules… but guess what they didn’t hold up to their side of the bargain, keeping our information safe.

Glad that I can have an extension for my PS+ account. A little sad that I already own all of the PS3 games (except for the Fury expansion for Wipeout). I don’t have 3 of the PSP games though. I’m wondering if we can mix and match or if we can have two of each?
I was pretty upset that the network went down, but the Welcome Back Package is very acceptable. Even if I have half of the content, I’m sure that a lot of people don’t. The entire lineup is impressive. I highly recommend inFAMOUS and Super Stardust HD. If there was an absolute must have of the bunch, inFAMOUS is your best bet.

some of it is pretty good, my only complain is the game list for the ps3, those are really old games which some have sequels to already. If you want to get back on our good graces, throw in some free DLC’s for games we have like super street fighter 4. Good luck Sony!
my ps3s internet doesn’t work
Well, I bought and own every one of those PS3 games and own 2 of the 4 PSP games. Does this mean Sony is going to give me the middle finger because I actually bought those titles? As a person who has spent $1000s on PS3 games in stores, and over PSN this feels like a slap in the face. And yay, I get an extra month for my Playstation plus subscription when I couldn’t make use of it for a month. Where is the bonus in this Sony?
Why are people saying they don’t owe us this….. THEY DO!!!!!!!!!! they owe us…. their customers who have supported their tyrannical company for years and given our money to them over and over again….. they owe us and they owe us bad. If anything they owe us more but Capitalism dictates to spend the least amount possible and to try and make money. Even now they are going to be making money once the store goes back online because all of the new plus members who are gonna see the discounts…. just remember THEY OWE US!!!! Screw you sony. An outage on a service we paid for when we bought the console cannot be remedied by a couple freebies. You guys handled this awfully especially airing PS3 ads while there was an outage rubbing it in our faces. Quite frankly I don’t think the PSN can ever be as good as the XBOX Live network. Suck on that!
Sony, you are doing a really great job with all of this. I admit that I’m not a big sony fan, and that I primarily play my xbox360… but if this whole thing happened to MS, you would not be seeing as many attempts to set things right. The offering of free games to keep, and free videos, etc is a great step. Keep it up!

I was just going to buy inFAMOUS this week, guess not anymore! I have LittleBig Planet, so it’s down to the other 3. I heard Wipeoutn HD was good, so I will probably end up getting that. I’m surprised the quality games they are giving away.
You let hackers get 11 million private credit card information and shut down psn for almost a month and all we get in return is 30 day PSN+ (which you’ll be using as a trial to lure more customers into keeping the service) and those wack $10-20 games which have been out for years. Can Sony get any more LAME?
To those complaining about complaining: since you are dense let me spell it out for you. We are complaining because some people are receiving greater compensation than others. If someone has already paid for the games, then they gave Sony their money and Sony is giving the games to someone else for free. In the other case, Sony is catering to a limited groups taste in games or age limit when someone may prefer something different – again someone getting something useful and another is not. Sony should simply either make all games available or give credit – that evens the playing field.
It’s not like Sony is giving stuff out of the blue out of the goodness of their hearts. If that were the case, I would be with you about the complainers. But this is supposed to be COMPENSATION and as such, should be of equal value to all.

People like me are loyal customers, buying those games right at there release, support the industry and PSN and now with this outage, you seem two want to satisfy only “casual” gamer buyers that did not get those “classic” games when they came out.

Sony I stuck with you through all of this! My friends all switched when I stayed. I had my ps3 for over 2 years now and i’m excited for all the new releases coming out. I am a huge PS fan! THANKS for giving us all the free stuff only bad thing I bought most of those games LOL so can i get like some money back just wondering but I have never tryed superstardust so it all good. To all the people commenting how did you guys comment during the outage? When I tryed it side site was down so I was like WTF. With all this…….. well i would like to say congrats to sony for doing a fine job getting things going again as well as the welcome back package is extremely nice. how ever i would just like to add impo like quite a few others have said what about us that already own all those games? me personally im happy with just haveing the network back so i can play games with my friens again and could care less about the rest of the stuff but in my personal opinion sony i think it probably would have been a better idea for you to do like a 80 or 120 dollar credit to everyones accounts cause you look at it atleast half to 3/4 of the people that dont have plus wont continue there subscription after the trial as well as for those of us who have those games a credit would allow us to choose freely another title or maybe a few DLC’s for the games we have. which if you look at it 80 to 120 is pretty much the price of 2 games depending on a few circumstances but i wouldnt suggest that with out backing you guys on doing a credit like that but putting a restriction to were you couldnt use the credit to purchase games that are less than 6 mths since release as well as dlc that is less than 1 mth impo i think that would be quite fair
They ultimately have given us the finger people, Old games and games no one wanted is what they offered. I know when plus is back up all the free games that were up there will probably be gone, and we will be given a few select older crappy games to choose from yet again. This is insulting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
