This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

Um about Netflix. You can use a computer to use it so why would anyone expect Sony to pay for Netflix?

My cousin was not able to sign up for PSN when he just got his PS3 a week ago, so even though he had no PSN account prior to the PSN shutdown, would he still be eligible for this offer? It be great way for him to start out since the only game he got was Metal Gear SOlid 4 :)

My only problem is that they are all old games. They are all made by Sony so they aren’t really losing anything so much on the free games.
I’m sure I can find 2 I will take but there not even games I would have considered at any point

thats not all you get, you get 30 days ps plus (so download a better game for less) and ps plus users get 60 days extra instead of just 1 month like we originally thought, and DC universe onlin users will find they have gotten 2 new masks for free, and, seriously, 100 FREE VIRTUAL ITEMS!

DON’T BUY ANYTHING ON PSN!!! This whole incident was completely avoidable. Almost a month of downtime is inexcusable. Not only was Sony’s security infrastructure incredibly shoddy, but their recovery plan was non-existent – they had to rebuild everything from scratch. There’s no excuse for such poor planning that puts our personal info at risk. Their messaging strategy was simply terrible, no updates for days at a time. Since not all ps3 owners upgraded their hdd to 500+GB are the ps3 games delivered digitally or snail mailed as a disc/physical copy? What if you have all the ps3/psp games you want and only could download 1 ps3 and 1 psp
game as you own the rest. Personally i’d prefer to have what the 2 ps3/psp games cost in my wallet so i could get
beyond good and evil HD and the japanese 2d fighting game AH3. I’d also want to pick my own psp games as i already own lbp,mnr and killzone+don’t really want pursuit force.
For those ps3 gamers stuck with 120GB hdd i’d offer digital or physical and even more so on psp because most psp gamers are using umd’s and don’t have 16GB sticks let alone 5GB. Anyway great to be back.

I own all the ps3 games listed but dead nation. I have wanted to comment for weeks but the network has been down. I plan on using the identity their offer for sure. I know some nice features in the next FW would be nice to have. I want to know if our information is encrypted this time, all of it.
Been waiting for network come back so I could play online. All this time I was hopen playstation do sonething bout the cheat goes on so bad when playing online. Nope. I was wrong. What true dispointment. Not that Im really surprized thou. I been loyal fan of playstatiion since ps1. Not anymore thou. Sell my ps3 and switch XBOX 360. Whats point of owning a PS3 if you cant play online and enjoy it bc all cheating goes on.
MAG should of been on this list of free games to choose from even if it meant it counted for 2 games. They had the MAG trial already up for PS Plus users already sand this would of been a great opportunity to spark some more life back into MAG by increasing the player counts which would lead to selling more of the DLC and maybe even getting Zipper to do a little more work on MAG and get us one last DLC pack.
