Now that some PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have been restored and you’re once again enjoying online gaming and entertainment, we’re happy to provide details about the “Welcome Back” appreciation program for customers in North America. We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- inFAMOUS
- LittleBigPlanet
- Super Stardust HD
- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

Well That Unfair For Me The Day The Network Went Down I Was Tryin To Make An Acount But I Couldnt And Also Like You Said Earlier You Said On The Store Every Going To Be As It Was Left Does That Mean The Map Pack For Killzone 3 Still Free For Plus People And Last I Forgot To Ask I Have To Make An Account On The Computer Cause Im Maxed But It Went Send Me Email?

I would have preferred a $40 or $50 credit added to the PSN wallet where I could have picked any games I wanted. This is a small collection, and if you own most or all you are out of luck.

The only problem (and Im really upset) is that they included LBP, Wipeout HD + fury and Infamous. I already have LBP (disc), and I owned Wipeout HD with PS+ Subscription. But Im really bored that I spent 30 dollars (here in Brazil, its not cheap to buy credits to PS Store), and people now can download freely.
Well, it`s not Sony`s fault. Have a good work!!!

Really wish you could have thought of something better for the die hard fans who have all these games already, but whatevs. All around this is a good offering and I’m positively shocked at the quality of selection you guys are giving. Hats off to you for pulling this all together for us.

I think the game selection is great, all have been great games, but considering the 3 downloadable games were offered at 50-60% (if not free) to ps+ users it seems like a bad choice of games. TBH i would be happy with even just some LBP costume packs or other stuff, I do however appreciate sonys goodwill.
Some people don’t appreciate anything. If you already have these games then download them and sell your box copy. There, now you get free money.
This is absurd. Games (that most people own, but whatever) are nice, but how about actually doing something to better the network and implement the top suggestions on the PS.Blog.Share? Or at least responding when they’ll be implemented or why not. It seems like you’re blatantly ignoring them and tiding us over for your grave mistake with a few games and some PS+ (which, might I add, is simply a marketing ploy to get people to want to subscribe). How dumb do you think we are?
Although I am impressed with the games they are deciding to give out, I am also VERY disappointed.
I was looking forward to getting to download some new games when the store came back for free..
Unfortunately for me.. I already bought most of these games from the store and have no interest whatsoever in downloading Wipeout.. I’ve never been a fan of racing games.. I hope that Sony will realize that some of their fans have already purchased some, most, or ever all of these games, and I think its unfair that those people don’t get anything out of this “welcome back” program…

Damn it, as much I appreciate the “Welcome Back” package as a whole, I own almost all of these games! I hoped for free PSN credit honestly. Oh well, I guess I could use an extra copy of inFamous and LBP( the only ones that I haven’t bought on the store, but on disc) and LBP PSP( had a UMD version, but eventually switched to the Go) and Pursuit Force(I assume the first one?)
Man i’m starting to believe that SONY really is cheap, c’mon this are good but really old games, and must of us have them all already, i know it not easy to please 77million users, but at least try to please most of them, and i don’t think that giving old games for free will please half of them, come on SONY you can do better than that!!!!

I own all those games. It sucks, I really wish you guys would have checked users accounts and if they already have all those games, you give them in store credit. I mean, we are loyal customers that PURCHASE your titles. The least you can do instead of not getting anything.

Will that be LittleBigPlanet GOTY edition or the standard edition? cause if it is “YAY I GET GOTY” if not “YAY GAMESTOP IS GIVING ME MONEY TO GET DLC”. also do we get all 4 of those game or 2 out of the 4?
So, where’s the clarification for existing PS+ users? We get 60 days added on. OK, so do we get an additional 25 days on top of that for the time we lost? If not, we get the time we lost back, plus 35 days. That’s only 5 more days than non-subscribers…..
