We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- Super Stardust HD
- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

I’m kind of bummed that I already own all 5 of the PS3 games but the PSP games will make up for it. I’ll be getting LBP and Modnation Racers. It wouldn’ve been really cool of they offered the PS3 version of Modnation Racers. Can’t wait for the store to be ready!

Count me among those who own all the offered titles. I appreciate the gesture, but it’s empty. A 30 day trial for a service I didn’t want in the first place and five games I paid full price for when they came out. Doesn’t seem like much of a welcome back at all. If the goal of the program is to reward the ‘faithful’, perhaps more thought could have been put toward what games your ‘faithful’ would have already bought.
Store credit, please, Sony. Or add the above to your PS3 list.
why couldnt you provide us all a much bigger list of games to choose from this is jst a huge slap in the face to us loyal customers!!

This is a great package and I look forward to the free 30 days of PS Plus and getting my hands on INFAMOUS for the first time! Not sure which other title im going to pick but ill figure it out soon enough.A little disappointed that there’s no free 30 days of music unlimited for non subscribers but im not going to worry about it. What a piss poor selection of Ps3 games. Most people, myself included, own Infamous and Little Big Planet. There were more titles offered in exchange for the 2004 PlayStation 2 Holiday demo disc that erased memory cards.
The PSP games aren’t the cream of the crop either. Little Big Planet psp was a glitchy, buggy mess. The same can be said about Killzone Liberation. Pursuit Force, really? Its only slightly more playable than Liberation, but its ultimately a forgettable game and experience. Modnation Racers is the only thing on the list that might be okay. Then again I don’t remember the demo for the game being impressive enough to warrant a purchase.
I hope that PS+ offers something remotely decent for free this month. :\ I hope it activates and stays active enough so I can get in the U3 beta. :P

Well I will be taking advantage of the ModNation Racers on PSP I guess fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it I own everything else already.
However it is the gesture and thought that counts I am pleased with the welcome back package and look unfortunately more forward to the identity theft protection as that’s all I really wanted and thought Sony should provide in light of the data breach.

So does each person get two PS3 games and 2 PSP games, or do you have to choose. Also, if I share a system with others in my family, do we each get 2 games?
As much as I hate to admit… I agree with those saying store credit should be an option. Maybe choosing between the two free games and twenty dollars store credit (it seems they are worth about the same, the free games being worth only a little more). As it has been said, many of us already have some of the free games and haven’t been interested in the others. I also know that not all of us use Playstation home for varying reasons, as well as not all of us using the rental services. I understand you are appealing to the general public so that everything is included, I just think maybe we should have a tad more choice.
Sucks. I already own these games. I read that ‘Ratchet and Clank: Quset for Booty’ would be available. Is this not the case?
Merh I already own inFAMOUS and LBP. The only one that looks somewhat entertaining is Dead Nation. Whatever happened to the free month of PSN+ and a day for every day that PSN was down?
I think with the rebuild Party Chat has now become an option. But there are no promises as of yet. And I am thankful there are good teenyboppers out there. Again, people, please act like some upright normal citizens instead of people who think they are entitled to everything. Make due with what they have. They didn’t have to do ANY of this for ANYBODY but QRIO and PSN PLUS members. They had to get all these devs to agree to this. That I am sure was not that easy. I feel bad as I am about to get two Housemarque games for free. I will have to buy their next one straight up.

Good work Sony on trying to compensate with CRAP. I knew it wouldn’t be anything good. LBP ONE? SERIOUSLY? SONY screwed up big and this is what they have to offer? Why not just spit in our faces. This is all it takes to make you happy about your CC info being out there? I’ll tell you what, I’ll give you 50 bucks for your name, address, password, DOB, and your CC#, and two days head start. Yah, thats pretty much what Sony did to you, except instead of 50 bucks they gave you free games which many of you already have, and some of you will never have bought in the first place. AND YES SONY DID THIS TO YOU, a known vulnerability. hackers many have stolen the data but sony pretty much put it on a silver platter waiting for someone to just take it. I hope someone gets thier identity stolen so the rest of us can wake up and realize how big a deal this is.

Maybe if you get one free one from the list and one of your choice at an uber discount. I’d like inFAMOUS, but the rest I either have or are in a genre that I’m not big on. Other than that, thank the lord for PSN!
