Now that some PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have been restored and you’re once again enjoying online gaming and entertainment, we’re happy to provide details about the “Welcome Back” appreciation program for customers in North America. We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- inFAMOUS
- LittleBigPlanet
- Super Stardust HD
- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

I agree with Konvicted!! they should have made dlc worth 18 dollars free to everyone! I could care less about the games and well playstation plus…. WHOOO HOOO!!! Um Not! For me the playstation plus is useless. Come on sony just give us 20 playstation dollars n let us spend it the way we want!
Let me just revise that a bit… how about 60 dollars towards the playstation store… that is about the cost of those 2 games and playstation plus for a month!
i got my playstation in april and wasnt able to create an account until after the network was back up. i had to wait just like everyone else to enjoy my playstations full potential. do i qualify? if not. thats bs.

hey to everyone that is saying that the games they are offering suck …well i dont think its just sony’s fault. they did give thanks to the developers and anyone else who basically donated to the cause. But i guess a couple are from sony. I dont like 2 of them and own the other 2. But owell.
You know if you have some serious questions….sony has a PHONE number you can call. Since you know….these blog isn’t tech support……or likely even read often enough to keep up with.

All i know is I use to own an X Box 360 when it first came out and i got the 3 ring of death happen on it. Almost everyone had it happen and they tried to make right by us but all they did was give me a rebuilt POS and no free nothing. Hell the X BOX 360 they gave me didn’t even work right so i sold it before it was nothing more then a paper weight. So all you ppl cryin like little babies need to shut up or go deal with crapy XBOX!!! I know i don’t really care for the games and all that but at least they are tryin.

Really sony you give games that people already own are bored with and have already traded up. Why not entice ppl with map packs or actual good games. I get it you can still make loads of cash off the newer titles but throw a dog a bone…….

Shame the titles are so limited on what you are giving away for free. Most people already have them or got rid of them.
I know somebody mentioned this earlier but..didja ever notice we never get responses from Sony on the posts..granted some are ridiculous but never..the euro blog folk were kinda peeved that they have like 2400 posts and only 12 responses..we never get a response..not even from the valid concerns people have

Seriously. I current own (and OWN at) Dead Nation. I beat Infamous back in 2008. Twice. I have LBP2 and don’t need or desire the original, which I’ve already bought & traded in….twice. The other two games….don’t know if they’re worth trying or not. Why? Because I’ve NEVER HEARD OF THEM. Which, from my perspective, is usually a bad sign.
I think you really should give us an option. The free stuff package or a credit to our PSN accounts. A sizable credit, too, because those three games we’d be getting, at regular price, is easily over $100. The stuff we’d get for free on Home, another $100. I’m not saying you should give everyone that much, but something. I think that gamers around the world would like to be able to choose what they think they’re owed, not just take whatever you’re willing to part with.
