This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

Gotta get the MOJO back im really glad it’s back online THANKS but its been off for so long i lost my MOJO. i would sit in the house and play the game all day long but now its like its no problem for me to me cut the game off and do something else i think i may have lost my mojo:-( somebody help me find it please.

hey, i know i should ask this in the EU blog, but i cant sign in there, so i’l ask here: i know sony said those countries will be able do get the welcome pack that have the psn store, but can u be more specific about those countries? and will the ps3 games sent by mail or can they be downloaded from the store?, Please Respon Sony!!

For everyone complaining about your info being stolen. You’re idiots. It’s all info that was deadly available online already.
Have a Facebook? Your info could have been stolen.
Upload a picture off your phone to anywhere online? Most if you don’t realize that there’s a .EXEF file attached to mobile uploads that logs your gps coordinates.
That means someone right now could know the Gps of your house.
Besides, it’s not like Sony didn’t offer alot of options to protect you identity. If you’re to lazy to look into those options then you’re obviously not that worried and shouldn’t be complaining.

well iam glad to see everyone else is happy with what they have done with psn iam not i never had a problem with getting into games or playing again online tell they started back up… now it takes 15 min to get into a game then 1/2 way through it says connection lost.. please tell me other ppl are having this problem and what it sony going to do to fix it this is ridiculous

at erb1988, i have the world worse connection, i have the next thing up from dial up, and it only takes a minute or two to get into a match.

Let’s imagine a guy. Call him Bob.
Bob has… let’s say… a gold chain. Let’s say he paid 60 bucks for it.
Now, the jewelry store that made the gold chain says “Free gold chains for everyone that’s a member of our store!”
You also are a member of that store.
How much would you buy that old, used gold chain from Bob for?
Nothing. Because you can go to the jewelry store and get your OWN gold chain, completely free.
No one is going to buy the physical copies of your games, because they can get them for free.
People who have all 5 games are currently screwed on this part of the deal.

I am hoping the Playstation Store is back up sooner rather than later as i want to play Mortal Kombat online and i need to enter the kombat pass code through the store to do so along with the dlc i got with it and any other dlc/games i want to get through the store.
I know majority of people wanted online gaming to be the first thing back and they got it and what astounds me is that they are the ones complaining about this and that. Is nothing truly good enough for you people.

Sony has taken down a number of its websites, after a new exploit regarding PlayStation Network usernames and passwords was revealed, according to media reports.
Signing into PlayStation.com, Qriocity.com and the PlayStation forums has been suspended until the company has resolved the issue. According to games site Nyleveia, and backed up by Eurogamer and users at NeoGAF, a new exploit allowed anyone to reset another user’s password with just their username and date of birth.
“In the meantime you will still be able to sign into PSN via your PlayStation 3 and PSP devices to connect to game services and view Trophy/Friends information.”
It later clarified, “This maintenance doesn’t affect PSN on consoles, only the website you click through to from the password change email

My god people it’s been 3 weeks the store updates every week on tuesday my guess is wait until this tuesday for sony to catch up on all the updates for the store. quit whining and enjoy the online play for now. I’ve been playing PAIN online.

Offering ppl who trusted your company 2 games which are old and to a subscription to something you have to pay for is awesome? There’s nothing good about that. You lost a lot of players and with these actions your company is taking , your going to lose more.
…This is really awesome, i was gonna buy infamous & infamous2, this saves me some money, Ill have to study about the others…my son loves Little Big Planet on PSP, im sure he’ll like it as much on PS3. Since I already own Little Big Planet & Mod Nation on PSP, That will be an easy choice. Thanks for the freebies, Ive always been Playstation loyal, even when all my friends were givin me hell over the network being down. Playstation is the only way to go for me!
