We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

We had no trouble with Netflix during the outage. It would just attempt to sign in twice, and then worked fine. And we’re in Spain where it’s not even supposed to be available. (Thank you usavideo.org)

1. I still cannot get online on PSN, I can access my account but not log on to PSN. Why.
2. I bought my PSP in USA and created my account in USA but now I’m in Pakistan, can I still avail these services and how?

Sounds good to me but I tried to get into the playstation store this morning, still says its undergoing maintenance. I’m in Canada, will it be up soon?
Have they announced how these games are being paid for? We aren’t paying for them, but someone is. Is Sony compensating the developers, or are the developers just eating the cost?

To everyone complaining about Sony’s Welcome back Package. GET OVER IT. At least they brought Online gaming back up, At least they are even trying to compensate us for the time we lost. I was one of the hardest and most vocal about Sony and the outage. I even have two or three games on the list that they are giving away but you know at least they are giving us something. SONY you guys rock, don’t let them get to you and keep up the good work. I just want the store back up. And I’m more than happy with the Welcome back package. And yes everyone has the ability and opinions to complain, but thats all they are OPINIONS. That doesn’t mean anyone will listen or that you are right. Just get off people and let themdo their jobs.
I noticed in the upper right-hand corner they’re advertising items in the Playstation Store U.S, so, my guess it won’t be long. On our Spanish account there are no such advertisements.

People keep thinkin it’s about the free games or what they do to compensate now. Like I said before, it’s not about what they give now, a trust between a consumer and the brand they choose should be there, right now Sony is not to be trusted as a company as they do not show commitment nor seem to care about their consumers. All these “hackers” did was expose Sony for the fakes they really are to the world. Will I continue to play my ps3? of course I spent the money already, will I buy the next thing that comes out from Sony for lack of trust?..Will you trust Sony with your Credit card information after this? What makes you so sure that Sony will not cut corners again next year when they need to update their security one more time?or even worse what’s makes you believe that what anonops have on twitter isn’t true? That this was a server problem that they blamed on an “”external intrusion”” to cover their bad decision making.

It would be cool if the store would actually be up again soon… I don’t care about all the free stuff you guys are offering because they are either games I already bought or games I have no interest in. I still don’t even believe you guys owe us anything because PSN is a free service and there are certain things you need to expect and deal with from a free service. I just want the network restored completely and the way it was before soon.
