Now that some PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have been restored and you’re once again enjoying online gaming and entertainment, we’re happy to provide details about the “Welcome Back” appreciation program for customers in North America. We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- inFAMOUS
- LittleBigPlanet
- Super Stardust HD
- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

6022 They dont “suck” anyone dry. Microsoft is the one who charges for you to be able to play online at all. Their free service was down for a month, they are compensating those who do pay for Playstation +, AND are giving away games and movie rentals just because when they didnt have to. If thats not enough for you then you are a spoiled brat.

not nearly enough, what about compensation for not being able to use netflix but i continued to pay the bill, how about a credit on the store so people could buy something that satifies their needs? i do appreciate the 60 days of playstation plus, i patiently waited, but a credit would be nice

lol netflix refunded me like 20 cents when there service went down for an afternoon so 20 cents times 28 days equals $4.60 thats what sony owes me according to netflix standerds
i would gladly pay for service if i thought i could actually rely on Sony to protect vital info, after this fiasco you really think anyone would pay for play, i think not…furthermore, PSN is advertised as a selling point of the PS3 so being denied service weather Sony’s fault or not, is a outright denial of a key selling point of the product which in turn amounts to the product not performing as advertised, technically i think Sony is an outstanding company, that had a few problems like any company’s do but i also think that their way of saying sorry really falls short of the mark

orange if you read the user agreement you signed when makining a PSN account there not liable for anything that happens to the service so tech they do owe you nothing
oh and btw hulu plus covered me for the entire duration of the outage and gave me a 2 weeks of free credit as well now that is an outstanding response to customer loyalty, take a cue from that sony

netflix told me it was not their problem, which i do understand that but a prorated credit would have shown that they care about customer satisfaction

plus 100 free items on home that had to set them back at least 200 bucks as expensive as a tshirt is on there
i was able to use netflix the entire time through my ps3 by going through the motions of signing in even though it failed it allowed me to use the program i was just unable to use huluplus

Dead Nation IS a good game, Little Big Planet too, but I guess that, most people alread have it… inFAMOUS is a great game and I was about to buy it, but now! Well.. About the others 2 games… Give it a try, one of then may be good, you only will know if you play…
I guess the most important thing on a game is the fun factor, if it give’s you a great time and you wanna play it again and again, that’s what’s count for me, at leat… And if you don’t give the game a chance, you will live only by the others thoughts…
I know there is a lot of games that someone say: “this game su@#$”, the another one says the same without even testing the game, and then another one do the same, but if you take the game and give it a chance, in the end you will be giving a counter rating to the game…
I do think diferent about some games that those game magazines, some exemples…. Clive Barker’s: JERICHO and Prince of Persia, they both are great games
