Now that some PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have been restored and you’re once again enjoying online gaming and entertainment, we’re happy to provide details about the “Welcome Back” appreciation program for customers in North America. We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- Super Stardust HD
- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

Look Sony I Appreciate that you got us back online, and i have been a die hard Sony fan for a very long time. I have owned all three PlayStation systems countless titles for all of the systems and i have 2 Sony LCD 1080p HD flat screen TV’s and a Sony surround sound system, so as you can see i am a Loyal Sony customer, and I have to so say that being such a loyal Sony customer, the “Welcome Back” package is nice i think it is a marketing ploy aimed at newer PlayStation owners and not at the long time die hard Sony loyalist’s such as myself, and i can’t help but feel a little slighted by it.

@SamuraiSniper thats not my problem.Sony needs to satisfy their customers.I bet most people had the same problem I had that they could not use their netflix account and had to pay for a month that they did not use the service.The bill was $17 so i think them giving $15 to buy anything off the store of my choice is fair.

It The list of games is horrendous to a seasoned gamer and i have already tried all of your services and i have to say that even though i do not want them you will more than likely get an upturn in profits on your ps3 services due to the taste they give a user for it, kind of like an addict going crazy for a fix, They want more once they get a little taste and they continue to pay for it. I am not saying i’m gonna jump ship because i have too much invested in you guys to jump off now, but i think that for the die hard Sony loyalist such as myself and others here on this forum deserve an option two such as a Store credit to purchase what we so choose and not some outdated game download of which most have sequel’s coming out for them already.

think even if it is the few and we are the minority the better for you i just think for those of us who have beat the titles that you are offering and who do not want to accept your services tease ,Have a second choice that is all i’m asking for, give us a choice don’t limit us to what you say we can have give us the freedom to choose what we want as our own personal thank you from Sony why not set up 2 or 3 different bundle packs for the user to Choose for themselves what package they want,
i’m sure that would quell a lot of the complaints right now as well as mine, the key here Sony is choice, we don’t want to feel as though we are being force fed crap without being given the choice to swallow or not, we live in a democratic country where the freedom of choice is of utmost importance , that being said you want to appeal to the customer Sony Give us a Choice!
