Now that some PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have been restored and you’re once again enjoying online gaming and entertainment, we’re happy to provide details about the “Welcome Back” appreciation program for customers in North America. We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- LittleBigPlanet
- Super Stardust HD
- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

If there is a decent compensation for us, too, limiting such awards to the USA will have to sue for punitive damages SONY, since I lost all this time thanks to the incompetence of interns working on PSN.

I had a 360 before the PS3 and I ended up selling it. Nice console but I like PS3 better. Sony makes better consoles imo.

Listen…I was not happy with the network being down for so lng but sony is trying to give us something back in return. A lot of u keep complaining that u already have those games…they can’t make everyone happy. If u already have them sell them, trade them in for something else and download the free ones for gods sakes. Thanks Sony for the updates and freebies…you redeemed yourself pretty well.

Sony thank you for taking care of your consumers, and for compensating everyone for this huge mistake you guys made. That being said, their no amount of compensation that would make up for the lack of commitment you displayed from the get go by not taking care of my personal information. Another example of how much Sony cares would be the PSP transition to no UMD support on the PSP Go. Bottom line Sony only cares about making money off of us and nothing more. Sony has been know to be a company to take shorcuts in order to fill their bottom line. Sony just lost a loyal customer until they display LOYALTY to those who made them who they are. Is that hard to do Sony? One word LOYALTY

i have the same complaint- i already own 3 of the 5 so i guess my ‘choice’ is made for me. 30 days of plus? uesless after 30 days more like. WTG sony you realy now how to make up to your fan base.

hmmm cant pick between little big planet, infamous , or dead nation. WHAT SHOULD I GET ? il have to look up revies aswell as game play for each game on youtube. hope the discounts are good for ps + . i have over 30 in my account so il be looking forward to buying games i want cheaper then the normal psn store. by the way, THANK YOU Sony for this package, though many are complaining they have them all. i for one, am lucky i dontt have any of these. decisionsssss….
