We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.

When i go to sign in a blue screen pops up that says password is no longer valid, change password. But I dont know how to change the password, I thought that is what the email was for that they are supposed to be sending me.

beware sony there are rumors that “anonymous” will atempt to hack you again. if you really spent all this time making the security better and they hack you again i dont know what i might do to myself

Sony, you can go to hell, I am stuck with this piece of crap for the rest of this generation. When next generation machines come out I will be going to microsoft. I have been trying to log onto my main ID for over 8 hours still no luck.

sony took the p### to get network back on and why put the Americans back up first when the attack was done in america. How long is it gonna take for the store to come back up can not find out if theres any money left on my account . when do we receive our free welcome pack i suppose it will be when the store goes up
I have waited all this time for your “customer” services to be availible and still NOTHING!!!! you can not even answer the phone when I am trying to talk to someone who actually works at your company. INSTEAD I get an automated voice saying a bunch of crap to avoid having to deal with the public. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!! SONY…Absolutely rediculous……..

I am having the same prob man. ive been waiting freakin 20 hrs to get my damn email and i have recieved nothing at all from them. ok so back then you guys said the service restored will include ” Restoration of Online game-play across the PlayStation®3 (PS3) and PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) systems
-This includes titles requiring online verification and downloaded games” So why can’t I play MK9 online, give me an error everytime, I don’t care if it doesn’t work really, but dont go telling me online game that require verification is gonna be restored if it’s not. That’s just teasing me for 3 weeks.
