We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.

@Binladin2304 since the PS Store is down you CAN NOT enter your access code for DCUO. I also purchased the game and purchased the 3 month subscription. I can’t believe Sony fk’d up so bad. I just wanna return the game and get my fckn money back.

ive thought bout trying DCUO seems like it would be a really cool game…however im waiting till next month when the alice sequel comes out…and LA noire comes out tuesday that looks promising
just wait until the next generation of playstion consoles hit the market and games will have to be purchased online or from a retailer with a download code…all im saying is how am i going to be able to get used games off craigslist using dlc? Think about. Craiglist is where the deals are…not gamestop, and not the playstation store, the store could go back down again.

Sony, I have gotten used to disappointment with you. Disappointed with your consumer electronics, disappointed with your policies. I was disappointed when you removed my otherOS and gave me no recourse but to hack my system or give up PSN. I was disappointed when you went over George Hotz without any real reason other then being butthurt.
You have wasted my time, lied to me, treated me like an idiot, lied to me, provided little or no information, lied to me, lied to me, lied to me. I have been gaming since my parents dumped a 2600 paddle into my playpen to shut me up. I have seen games and systems, and companies evolve. And I have never seen such an overwhelming amount of complete incompetence and dishonesty by any cooperation.
Sony, you should be beyond ashamed. But I know you seem to run your organization as the victim, always goosestepping your bootprints up the spines of your consumers time and time again while acting like everyone is out to get you. Being a PS3 owner is starting to feel like being in an abusive relationship with a person who constantly lies and manipulates you.
I will be transitioning to an Xbox 360 over the next few weeks as I can afford it. I will lose my trophies, my savegames, and a good chunk of cash. But I will never, ever purchase another piece of hardware from you. You disgust me.

I reset my password and only took about 1 minet for the email to come through.
Don’t forget to do the download which too last night about 10 to 15 minutes to download
Sony you keep fortifying your network infrastructure. No System is secure enough to warrant the thought of true safety. Hackers are like the Flu; You can find a way to immunize yourself but soon or later the virus will adapt and attack again. Can only prepare and strengthen before hand. Sony you roll out those features when they are secure enough. Don’t want to roll everything out at once and leave a potential flaw in the system. Looking forward to hearing about that Welcome Back package.
My PS3 is not working anymore since today when the network came back up i havent played it since the network went down if some one could help the ps3 doesnt read any disk anymore i reset the whole thing up and no, i tried calling the ps3 warranty thing and they are charging me 100 dollars to fix it wtf either i get a new ps3 or my money back

what happened could have been a lot worse. inorder to instill customer trust, sony is offering id theft protection. it did take a while to get psn back up, but at least its better than what it was. what i dont like was the lack of honesty by sony to try to pacify frustrations. but it probably did us all some good to break away for a while.
well timchamp im not worried bout it at all my sign in email is an outdated email address for a blackberry i no longer have and i only used a prepaid visa card on the playstation store and kept my actual debit card off. so im not the lease bit worried

Dont get me wrong PS3 is better than XBOX 360 but anuff is anuff i know what a few days is, it does not equel a MONTH,, i just am pissed that i believed it and waited with no gaming, i mean i game ALOT lol… and finley gave up on sony and im all XBOX, my ps3 is now my DVD player lol…

them offereing the whole credit fraud thing to as you put it 70 million people is in my opinion their guarantee that your CC info is secure other wise how much would sony and their insurance company have to pay out to all those ppl? trillions? you think they would put themselves in a situation that could possibly bankrupt them?
