We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.

I can’t even sign in because my email address is 31 chars long and the PS3 stops inputting at 30. This wasn’t a problem on an earlier update.

Psn is only free they provide you the online servers it lags alot!! And when I play my xbox it’s perfect
And was never able to say anything while service was down, but don’t people have other things to do than shoot people in multiplayer FPS’s?

now that i get too I have to say that Xbox 360 is way better than PS3 I have both and 360 is 10x better, you’ll never see xboxlive being shut down for 3weeks almost to a month mmmm that kross game chat and gears of war 3 beta sound sooo good right now i gotta pay for xbox live but guess what….xbox dont shut down for a month and have there kustomers komplain :)

Get a server error on my other accounts WOW. CMON SONY, wtf is going own with the password resets. On one account i can reset it manually in my system but the rest i have to login in an email, WOW!!!!!!!

I’ve been playing MvC3 for a couple of hours now. I only had lag for 1 match. I think PSN is godlike now. It was worth the 3 week wait.

My brother had a 360 got it for xmas but he traded it even while the network is down for a ps3 cuz the titles are so much better exclusives and now even a lot of the ports oh how the tides have changed any how PSN is up and seems to be running extremely smooth. I love it can’t wait till all the features are back love the new steam functionality its amazing.
whatever Sony decides to do, to make this right with their customers, will not satisfy everyone. SO if I could make a suggestion … Playstation Plus doesnt appeal to me – I would prefer money in my wallet. Sony has gotten plentyof my money over the years. I think its fair. Theyre gonna get the funds right back anyways. I dont consider this a greedy either.
