We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.
when i press x on use existing account it just blinks at me. then it says connection to server timed out

gotta be patient guys, it took a bit of time for online play to be fixed, i bet its not gonna be easy with ps store. For now stick with playing online and be happy that we have it already.

I almost killed people when i saw that maintenence message appear again. Luckily it went away. Will the Store be up by Tuesday? Fallout New Vegas content is dated to be out Tuesday.
You guys (or girls) who are impatient have to be logical about this…servers get messed up when it’s flooded…Don’t demand for it to be up, or even demand for the Playstation Store to be back now…you waited 3 weeks, you can wait another 30 minutes & i just wanted to say Thank You Sony and that you guys still rock in my opioion. Also to all the sad puppies that went and got rid of there PS3 for a xbox or wii I dont feel sadness or pitty for you because if you were a true sony consumer a little outage would not influence your decision to get rid of a great gaming console. But yes congrats Sony yall did a wonderful job and we appreciate all that your doing to help and support us gamers who use your network for online competetive and fun gaming.

Everybody calm down. Sony will have the store up as soon as possible. Probably regionally like they’ve already done with service thus far. If they are having a major melt down due to their customers reseting their passwords then the store may take a little while longer. Hang in there, be patient, you can spend your hard earned dollars shortly ;)

It would be good to start working on that PSN Store because the MAP PACKS are almost out for BLACK OPS and well I already bought the PSN CARDS for the last maps and The ones that are coming out, SO C’MON PSN I have been believing in you guys since all this started and THESE 2 20 PSN CARDS are burning a whole in my pockets xD
