We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.

Too the few who were talking about how “Sony should have expected this.” I believe last night they did phase in, not every region went up at the same time. it was a gradual process. I waited a good few hours before I could change my password last night when I was seeing people up already on the east coast. So shut the frak up and play a game. I’m pretty sure PSN is up now…The Store should be up sometime this week…to all those who want it up now…I feel you..but have patience. Oh and my netflix never once stopped working I dont know what other peoples issues where. I just let netflix load while I failed to sign in a few times once netflix loaded did ask for me to sign in.
To Sony sucks this happened but I happy the PSN is back up. Unlike a lot of people I haven’t forgot that not long ago we didn’t have online gaming for consoles if I wanted that I’d hit my PC. I have every Disgaea game so I barely noticed you where offline.(except when I wanted DLC *Shrugs*)…ummm I didn’t really have anything important or awe inspiring to say…everyone have fun and maybe I’ll shoot one of you in the near future.(not literally…but you are gamers you should know that) or you will shoot me…as long as someone gets shot its good.

All you have to do to sign back in is, wait for a minute, then sign on again . You should be able to get back online . And Sony, when can we get an update on the PS Store . Such as, when we can expect it to be online, and will there be new content waiting for us ?

If anyone has a code they want to redeem on the store you can do it through playstation.com. although you cant download anything since the store is down. This might be helpful for those with kombat passes or something similar.
