We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.
As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.
If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.
WHAT ABOUT DA PS STORE WHATS UP WIT THAT
@ AUG209 I’ve noticed you asked about the store a bunch on here. Look all over the web and you’ll find articles that state that the PS store is not a top priority and will be one of the services that returns around the end of the month deadline. A few articles claim it’s due to sony re-designing the store and others that say it’s for security reasons. One of the reasons Sony took down the network was also because 3 weeks before the outtage, Geohotz posted a video that showed people how to trick the psn into not pre-authorizing credit cards when they added funds. So people were charging up to like $1000 in funds and not being charged for it.
Anyone wants to add me, feel free. I usually play ps Home, blops, and rock band 3. Could use a gaming bud or two.
I’m in NC mine was up earlier but I turned it off.. tried to play a couple hours ago and it wouldn’t work. Still down although my boy who lives 10 min away is online. Hopefully soon! I’m going to at least lvl 50 tonight on zombies

What the hell Sony? I appreciate the little ‘teaser’ you’ve done, but seriously, WHY couldn’t you foresee this coming? Why did this just *POOF!* up and appear? Couldn’t you have made BETTER efforts in getting the people to phase their resets to avoid such a huge mess? You just created your own DDoS attack from people who love the PSN. Good job……

i’m telling ya, xbox live is still wayyyyyyyyyy better than PSN, keep in mind i have 360 and ps3, and its a honest comparison EVEN CROSS GAME CHAT ON LIVE…you fanboys are some twisted closed minded [DELETED], a ps3 could smack you in the face and would still say it was a 360…..ridiculous
