Dynasty Warriors 7: Based on the epic novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the genre-defining Dynasty Warriors series depicts the massive battles ignited by the fall of the Han Dynasty when three rebellious states moved to overthrow the Emperor of China.

Players must use strategy and pinpoint timing to derail opponents, tactically alter the track or create entirely new routes.

Chime Super Deluxe: Chime mixes up the addictive action of puzzle games like Tetris with elements of music synthesizing. You arrange note blocks on a grid which form patterns of sound, then secure them by surrounding them with other blocks, intensifying the audio and creating new melodies as you play. As you build larger block segments (quads) and cover the grid, the combo meter starts and the underlying song develops in full. But take care – if you build yourself into a corner, the blocks shatter and the music dies. Read PlayStation.Blog Coverage

  • personally i wasnt waiting for 3rd birthday. it may be a fun game, but its not my cup of tea. look like the only thing or me this week is that Free Realms, and i dont think it will be that good. i have played the PC version and it wasnt that quite fun.

its quite sad that we havent seen adding any past psp games. I understand all the issue that may be require to put a game on the Psn, but you guys not telling us anything about if said games are coming or not just seems like Poor Communication on your part. Where are classic Psp Games like Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, or Phantasy Star Portable 1, or Anime based games?

It just seems like you guys are taking the psp seriously, and if you guys plan on doing this for the NGP its going to end up like the psp did. hopefully you guys take it seriously and release games, advertise it, etc. the psp is a wonderful system, but your neglections towards it is just unprofessional.

I know this isnt going anywhere, and its probably going to get lost like all the other question that get answered on this blog, but hopefully one day you will change and we will start seeing some wonderful games both new and old on the psp!

  • I was hoping for Parasite Eve 2 as a psone classic, but hopefully it will be around soon.

Its been a long time waiting for The 3rd Birthday!

  • Free Realms sounds somewhat exciting, played a little on the PC way back when. I would really have like to see some game demos for Shift 2 and NASCAR 2011, but it’s all good. More than anything, a demo for Brink would be amazing, since it’s soon to release, and also a single player demo for SOCOM 4. Come on Sony! Lets get on the ball! People want to play these games before just buying them!

  • Haha! I just saw the comments inquiry at the bottem. Says if you post “First!” that your a jerk. Guess the guy at the top is a jerk? I guess he better try for second next time.

  • @ #34 autoxfool:

Apparently you’re not a racing game fan. Ironic considering your name

    @ #103 somedirtyangel:

If the first NFS Shift game is any foreboding, The demo will come out shortly after the game comes out.

  • Nice! Back to the Future Part 2 and I’m seriously considering TW12….

  • I’d be happy over the The 3rd Birthday being on PSN, but I played Japanese version, and while the game itself was great, the story is just one big “#$^! you” to Parasite Eve fans with its ending.

So in short; nothing for me this week unless I see some new Avatars I like.

  • hey is the demo that says MAG on here a new demo i hope it is

  • Do we get Lightning’s Aya Costume from “Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy” on the PSN with “The 3rd Birthday” PSN purchase?

  • Some of the games this week are good but the games I would really like to see for the PSone are Croc Legend Of The Gobbos, Croc 2, Gex Enter The Gecko, Crash Bash, Disney’s Magical Racing Tour, Twisted Metal Twisted Metal 3, Twisted Metal 4 and the Greatest Hits Version of Spyro Year Of The Dragon if that one is possible

  • WHERE IS PARASITE EVE 2
    I need that game. T.T
I was hoping for it to come out this week. T.T

  • Nice to see that the 3rd Birthday is hitting the PSN. Now if you could give us PS+ members a discount like you did with Dead Nation, everything would be super!

  • Is Back to the Future Part 2 getting a PAL release this week also?

We were a week behind with Part One, so would appreciate it if you could shed some light on this.

    Thanks.

  • @ykiki5

You are paying for all 5 episodes; and it is well worth it so far.

If you are a fan of the series then it’s FANTASTIC!!!!

  • hey can i get this anwserd? will the helteless Warrior of Light DLC be avaible on the PSN this week?

  • OMG! Enough with the Sonic the Hedgehog already! I can think of 1,000 awesome games you guys have skipped over.. just so you can release 500 different versions of Sonic. lol. Where’s Parasite Eve 2? Where’s Final Fantasy Chronicles? P.S. Sega died for a reason.

  • why is WWE All Stars is only downloadable for psp “psn”

  • OK, so it’s Tuesday the 29th, and Back to the Future pt2 is NOT available? Were Y’all just lying or what?? Been waiting for MUCH longer than was told, for this second pt.

  • @118 – daveNjen07

They weren’t lying, the release is supposed to happen today, the normal updates are either sometime mid-day or evening (can’t remember which) but it also depends on your Time Zone as well…

  • what ever happened to that Swarm demo?

  • Parasite Eve 2 isn’t release this week…why?! I thought you guys were going to release the Paradise Eve series before The 3rd Birthday would be release, are you kidding me?

  • I’m surprised there isn’t a new Tower Defense game again this week.

Seems like thats becoming the norm on PSN :(

I find them incredibly boring but I guess if your into them at least there is a pretty big selection to chose from. Is the new Dynasty Warriors really going to be different than the last six button mashers ? If so I’m there, I need to look for a review :)

Would be nice to see more Mech games on PS3.

We need more quality PS2 and PSX remakes please :)

  • When exactly is the new DLC for Mass Effect 2 going to drop? I’ve been looking at the PS Store but there hasn’t been any sign of the Arrival add-on.

  • when will the Mass Effect 2: Arrival DLC be available in the PSN Store? I’m in the central US time zone and we are pushing well toward most of March 29th being over. I’m not sure what the delay is but an approximate time would at least be helpful. Thank you.

  • Is Lego Star Wars III coming to PSN for the PSP for download??? Does anyone know? Lego Star Wars III came out on Mar 22nd and it is still not on the network to download on PSP???

  • Yay! PSN Store updated :D

I’m still hesitant whether to get 3rd Birthday on PSN or on disc…PSN for more convenience, and disc for bonus Dissidia costume :S

  • where are the fight night champion add on boxers, im ready to use jack johnson. everytime i play fight night i see that i can unlock them but i dont see where i can pay for them and use them, and when are ps2 games going to be available like the ps one games? somebody please help me out.

  • is Parasite Eve 2 ever coming to PSN?

  • I still can’t figure out why since I have a 360 and PS3 I wanted to get rid of my 360 and keep just the PS3 but the games are sooooo lacking in PSN where is Mrs. pacman? Astroids? Centipede/millipeded, ect. Also Where is sonic 2, 3 and Sonic and knuckles? This is the only sore subject with me and PS3 otherwise I love it. I don’t want to wait till 2012 or 13 to get games that have already had a hi def makeover. Every single playstation system I owned, 1, 2 & 3 only 1 and 2 had namco museum and you could get alot of the good games. Now we have namco lite which I bough for only two games. I realize not everyone likes the old school games but the PS3 has a more adult backing and we grew up with these games and they are not that hard to port I wouldn’t think they are pretty basic games.

  • I meant would be pretty basic to port as they are semi simplistic games.

  • @40 re: favorites on PSN: never gonna happen. I asked customer service, they told me to go pound sand.

Question: Who is actually selling Killzone Liberation for $9.99, as described in https://blog.playstation.com/2011/02/25/psp-now-available-for-129-99-new-additions-to-greatest-hits-and-favorites-collections ? Why is it still $15.99 on PSN?

Reply: I understand the concern caused by not being able to purchase Killzone: Liberation for the new favorites price of $9.99 from the PlayStation(R)Store. The mentioned MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) is for the purchase of the UMD(TM) version of Killzone: Liberation. These can only be purchase from a physical retail location. The game can be purchased at retailers that sell PlayStation(R) game consoles and their peripherals.

So yeah, I appreciate that PSN is the legit way to have digital content on your PSP, but it’s silly that games cost *more*.

  • :( this game should be on the PS3 as well too, i have the game but can’t play it until i get new PSP3000 against sense its broken. The whole thing stop working and check to see if sony can fix it but it would cost to much money so may as well get new one. And still like to get my hands on PSPGo too so i can own both PSP3000 & PSPGo.
