5 MORE DAYS!!! That’s how long you’ll have to wait to get your hands on DISSIDIA duodecim prologus FINAL FANTASY. In case I’ve forgotten how to count, that means prologus will be available March 15th exclusively via the PlayStation Network for $2.99. The details will be posted on the official site later today. In the meanwhile, here’s a quick summary of why prologus is going to be so awesome straight from the press release:
- Witness Lightning before the storm: Lightning, the protagonist of the popular FINAL FANTASY XIII, will be introduced to the DISSIDIA series for the first time. Players can enjoy a taste of the latest installment through a unique scenario featuring Lightning that will recount the events leading to DISSIDIA 012[duodecim] FINAL FANTASY.
- Carry-over items from DISSIDIA duodecim prologus FINAL FANTASY to DISSIDIA 012[duodecim] FINAL FANTASY: Players can continue their journey and have the advantage of carrying over in-game items acquired in DISSIDIA duodecim prologus FINAL FANTASY for use in DISSIDIA 012[duodecim] FINAL FANTASY.
- Unlock a new character: By purchasing DISSIDIA duodecim prologus FINAL FANTASY, players will also receive the immensely popular Aerith Gainsborough from FINAL FANTASY VII as an Assist Character in DISSIDIA 012[duodecim] FINAL FANTASY.
Not that I need to remind you, but DISSIDIA 012[duodecim] FINAL FANTASY will be available a week later on March 22. BTW: If you can say “DISSIDIA 012[duodecim] FINAL FANTASY DISSIDIA duodecim prologus FINAL FANTASY” 20 times really fast you get the honor of pet-sitting Hachi the next time I’m on a biz trip! :-)
I’ve been checking both and checking both systems for a system update. This is totally unfair… Then again, if the set back is the earthquake, I can understand that.

That sucks, I bought a card for nothing then. I can’t download it on my PSP because the account my PSP has doesn’t have any money and the account that does have money It won’t let me on my PSP because of my other account

Why wouldn’t you update? Don’t most games force you to update from the disc anyway?

6.35 is the lastest OFW that i know with a working HEN i think :S and well, now that i think about it probably 012 will force users to upgrade to 6.37

@160 you have to deactivate that account on the psp and activate the one with funds… the downside is that i think you can use the purchased content only with the same account used to buy it

Well… Maybe they’ll update at noon Japanese time… So that’d be like 10cst/11est I think… I’m not saying they are. Hell, could have it up in 5mins for all I know. But someone did mention they seen most updates during that time. Still, one thing bothers me… They did update the PS3 network with new demo for Mortal Combat… So why couldn’t they do PSP around that time; if not during that time.

Go to the PS3 blog page and you’ll see the mortal combat info there. I know they did something cause before I couldn’t get onto this blog. After a while I could and I noticed that the Mortal Combat was there now.

As much as want the game (probably as much as you do), I wouldn’t worry too much about it; last time they updated, I was in the PSN store at around 7 to 7:30 to 8.
