The wait is nearly over! Treyarch and Activision are happy to announce that the Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike Content Pack launches worldwide for the PS3 on March 3rd, 2011. Battle it out in four all-new multiplayer maps including Berlin Wall, Discovery, Stadium, and Kowloon. Expand the cooperative fight for survival in Ascension, the latest chapter within the terrifying Zombies saga.

At least Killzone takes SKILL… oh and it will actually work unlike COD games lately ;) I sold my call of duty game because I don’t like playing an online “competitive” game that relies on LUCKY care packages, radar, and A U T O A I M of all things to get you kills. It’s pretty sad. Even a 5 year old can get kills in that game. For those of us who are REAL gamers and like a REAL challenge? We play games like Socom and Killzone ;) Peace out activision kiddies… enjoy your hand-holding auto-aim game, that HELPS you get kills…..LOL.

Why is it that when people complain about the price other people always assume they are poor? its not because of that, its the principal.
Coming from someone like me who only plays Zombies this DLC for 15$ isn’t worth it as it contains only 1 zombie map making the total maps for me to play in 3. why waste 15$ on just one map?
there are the people who are mad that xbox got it a month early. i really dont see the point in this as it only makes people unhappy. i mean there is 3 different consoles that have this game, and xbox gets special treatment? just seems kinda pointless to me to disappoint fans.
there are people who just doesnt see how this is worth 15$. put into account that there are a ton of Psn games that roughly the same amount of money that people could enjoy more than just playing 3-4 maps on here.
there are people who just cant deal with the BS anymore. while some people may have no been having problems doesnt mean that everyone else is the same. i have some problems i have encountered (like game freezing/crashing, glitches, hackers etc.) and they believe that the devs should concentrate on fixing that before making us buy more maps.

The KZ3 demo was pretty sweet…especially with the melee kills…i mean im not gotta reserve it but ill prolly buy it about a month or two after release
They Do The Updates On Tuesdays and Thursdays BTW If We Had To Wait Another Week For The DLC That Would Be False Advertising And That Means A Lawsuit So I’m Pretty Sure Its Gonna Come Out On Thursday. And What Would You Expect From A War Game. War Is Depressing And Discovery And Stadium Aren’t And Berlin Wall Is A Prison So What Do You Expect. I don’t think kowloon is very depressing because I think it’s exciting. :)

Um… I have an xbox also, so I rented black ops on my gamefly acct, and just bought the maps through them. Sorry ps3. Maybe you guys should stay a little more on top of things. I also dont experience host migrations and crashes every 15 minutes anymore. Still gonna try kz3 though. I hope to god it’s multiplayer dosent suffer the same probs as black ops.
Rather spend my money a Killzone 3. No more Call of Duty for me, too many glitches.

Looks like this overpriced map pack is just in time to get overshadowed by Killzone 3.
I’d pay $30 for 4 new online maps if I had to…. $15 is fair for 4 new multiplayer maps IMHO… aprx $3 per map, $3.75 if you don’t count the zombie map (which I never play). After a number of prestiges, the current maps are getting really old anyways. For those that don’t play much CODBO, don’t waste your coin. For addicts like me it’s worth it.
Black Ops has some minor flaws (now). Most of the bugs have been fixed and I rarely have issues. It’s quite playable and enjoyable now, at least for me.
KZ3 sucks… horrible gfx. Tried the demo and if the final product is not twice as good, forget it… I’ll wait for BF3!

15$ is not too high of a price and treyarch did so much for us, they even increased ps3 security and do you their ‘favourite’ console xbox 360 is in defcon 3 while we are in defcon 5,

Man i hate how people keep hating on Playstation.
I know that its a big lose having the map packs coming out for the Xbox360 first, but you people have to understand that playstation is releasing it a month later because they are trying to find all of the glitches and little missed details so that we can get it already fixed and nearly bug free, and yes i wish it was also a bit cheaper but with this economy it don’t matter the prices because the company has to survive.

and you people that say your game frezes can you please stop arguing because since i started playing COD Black Ops i have never had a single problem with the game freezing but with the one i encounter the most is when i see an opponent and shoot at him he doesn’t die even if i use a whole clip[That is a downer].
but the gameplay on both consoles are great, there are not many differences at all between them its just how you play it.
And i just can’t wait until First Strike comes out.

Like anyone on PS3 cares about Black Ops anyways…. Were all waiting for a great game that looks incredible, and plays smooth online like Killzone 3. Black Ops is so freaking broken it was easy not to purchase.

Lots of I hate Im seeing, but 90% of you guys are gonna be getting the DLC. Anyways, im just looking forward to the new Zombies map. I heard the best map is one of the new ones as well. Wish we didnt get the damn things a month after xbox, and I wonder why that is in the first place. AND FINALLY, why in the hell are there 4 zombie maps on the prestige edition? CAN we possibly buy these in the near future?! for 15$ we def should be getting those as well. Oh and the game has its problems but they also fix it constantly. Get over it and stop crying. First off the ms and activision deal sucks for gamers but is great for the accountants! this type of deal is a specialty of ms! the COMPANY (ms) went through the monopoly scam so they as a company are ruthless wolves out for the money ( sounds like corprate-mafia at its finest.– use the law as your weapon let the lawyers figure it out.)
Second black-ops is a cool game dispite its flaws. which good business dictates almost mandates that compansation should be made to ps3 black-ops users from treyache! they not ps3 should provide the dlc for free as their company is the one that put out a bad product. ( the law somewhere states that is illegal. you just cant sale a shody product and then not provide a compensation plan for their own faults.)
if im not wrong the issues are created by too many people enjoying the game, as well as cheaters. now if they/we dont like the problems something should be done! xbox figured a way to deal with it!
