The wait is nearly over! Treyarch and Activision are happy to announce that the Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike Content Pack launches worldwide for the PS3 on March 3rd, 2011. Battle it out in four all-new multiplayer maps including Berlin Wall, Discovery, Stadium, and Kowloon. Expand the cooperative fight for survival in Ascension, the latest chapter within the terrifying Zombies saga.

treyarch dont listen to any of these noob heads, you sell what you want to your customers never mind what they say. so far i,ve bought of you guys are pro gaming headset, the prestige edition, and now i,m going to be buying the new DLC map pack 1 called first strike i,m really looking farward for this to be coming out i,m gonna buy it as soon as it hits the playstation store at 12am, and now apparantly people on youtube have been doing some rearch on the new DLC map pack 2 for black ops and the zombie maps called Area 51! apparantly its coming out in September 24th 2011 if you guys pay attention to the whole zombie story and in der riese on one of the maps on the wall it says Area 51 coming sept 24th but could be this true, if so i,m gonna be buying that aswell.

cod black ops is not dead i think that once the first strike map pack launched to xbox 360 it had the most view video ever to be on youtube with about over 2,000,000 viewer per video that was based on the map pack first strike but gamers and mostly talking about the best zombies map to be in the cod black ops is ascension the new easter eegs and drink like the hpd flopper is already the mosted talkabout game including killzone 3 the best action pack game and heavy rain a movie like game that his differnt ending.

Oh man KZ3… First Strike? mmmmmmm I chose BattleField 3 probably free maps with Destruction 3.0 for you people that dont know what that is(Black Ops People) Its when you can destroy a 7 story building. Not like in Discovery when the destruction is 0.1 on that small bridge type thing

Here is the correct opinion, Call Of Duty Black Ops is awesome, not as good as mw2 (before the hackers ruined it), but still brilliant. The map pack looks great, play it as soon as i get home from work. Also Killzone 3 is garbage, just as bad as Battlefield Bad Company 2.The Black Ops servers are not broken, they work perfectly well, i havent encountered any hackers and the servers only failed me for the first time tonight, when maintanence was being carried out. PLAY BLACK OPS, THROW KILLZONE 3 IN THE BIN!! If anyone wants to add me on PSN, feel free.
Also i 100% agree with Monkeymo13, if you dont like Call Of Duty games in general, then why did you buy Black Ops?? If you dont like, then trade it in, so that somebody who likes the game and wont moan as much as you guys do, can play it and enjoy it. Feel free to add me on PSN. Bring on First Strike!!!

Really ive played the maps on xbox and they are cool for a minute but they treyarch thinks they can jack up prices and put so much hype on games with huge lines of people waiting at midnight and then they say nothing about the game to get more excitement im only getting it for zombies pretty much. and also i personally would like to see a lot of stuff like the closing doors and explosie items and posibley movable barracades for multiplayer
I didn’t like Black ops when it came out but if you play in a diffirent place you will maybe like it!

I would never pay £40 for killzone 3 because it isnt even worth 1p!!! Call Of Duty Black Ops on the otherhand, i wish i had bought the prestige edition rather than the standard edition, because i bet thats even better.

i agree with every one on this blog. number one, fix this beyond broken game first. i cant even play online/signed in? if im signed in an get into black ops it progresses so slow that its not even playable. if im signed out on psn i can start up the game and play offline. but what the point? dose any 1 have this problem??? the only reason i want this dlc is for zombies and zombies only. and 15 dollars for zombies is not worth it! but it comes down to if i cant play multiplayer on anything online after an update im snaping all my call of carppy games in half and they will never get my money again.

$15 is pretty overpriced, especially when ubisoft gives away AC dlc for free, but i’m still going to buy it.
Map packs come out a full month later than on xbox thats stupid. not to mention they dont come out on march 1st but on march 3rd and theyre 15$. might as well just buy killzone 3.
also if you can fix the game and not have hosts dashboarding, having such a difficult time since if you have even a 3 bar connection you cant do crap and fix it so that snipers are actually a credible weapon so that people will even consider using them. just fix the dam game and people will play it more and buy the effin map pack
