Hi everyone – let’s see what’s in store for you this week.

Blog Post 2011-02-01

Another fantastic Day & Date from DC with DC Universe Online Legends #1. Tying-in with the DC Online Universe game, this brand new series is brought to you by an all-star team including Marv Wolfman, Tony Bedard and Howard Porter. In this first issue, Lex Luthor’s obsession with destroying Superman reaches a fever pitch when he cuts the ultimate Devil’s deal with Brainiac, but with the shake of a hand, has Luthor consigned humanity to genocide?

Fans of Spider-Man, read on! Meet 15-year-old Peter Parker in the acclaimed Ultimate Spider-Man (2000), and watch him grow up into the hero we know and love, through personal tragedy and a fateful bite. With great power, there must also come great responsibility!

And a worthy addition for Wolverine fans: Wolverine (2003): Old Man Logan #8 (Giant Size), the brutal conclusion to the Old man Logan arc – fifty years in the future the United States have been overtaken and divided amongst supervillains… Wolverine returns and unleashes a tidal wave of bloody revenge – will he make a difference? This Giant Size also features many extras, so don’t miss out.

In part 1 of 4 of Transformers: Prime, the comic prequel to the animated series, Cliffjumper and Arcee battle their way through Decepticon forces in a desperate adventure to learn the secrets of Space Bridge Technology – but Starscream stands in their way!

Jeff Smith’s highly entertaining series Bone continues with the Eyes of the Storm story arc, available in single issues (#12-19) or as an all-inclusive bundle! Just take your pick. In volume three of the nine-book Bone saga, some long-kept secrets are revealed as Gran’ma Ben lifts the lid on Thorn’s lineage, and unrest grows as devilish creatures look for “the one who bears the star”…

We also have many great bundles from Markosia with: The Dark, Dark Mists, From the Pages of Bram Stoker’s Dracula: Harker, Kong: King of Skull Island, The Lexian Chronicles (part 1), Raising Amy, Reya. You can now pick up all these series at a discounted price.

  • Lots of good reads this week! It erases the sadness of not being part of the Killzone 3 Beta contest because I’m in Canada.

    Wait a minute…

  • It’s cool that we got more bundles

  • Please… More Deadpool comics. there are only 11 comics for him on the Digital comics store

  • I eagerly await the latest issues of God of War and Ratchet and Clank each week.

  • Not sure if I missed it but:
The Bone series: are they the re-released (color) versions, or the original black and white?

  • at least i have the physical spiderman comic

  • canada still doesn’t have comic book store i see. now to mention ps3 still have no direct (meaning without streaming or conversion) mkv file support.

  • @8 At least you didn’t receive the same message as SCEE did this week concerning the comic book store for the European mainland. SCEE announced they won’t be opening comic stores for the European mainland, final.
Now if they would kindly remove the useless icon from my XMB …

  • We can PLAY DC Universe in Canada, we just can’t READ DC Universe in Canada….
Come on Sony! Fix this… we have the video store now, whats the problem?

  • To all Canadians complainers: If you really want to read comic books, head down to your local comic books store. Support your local businesses.

  • When will you guys add the function to allow comics to be read off of an M2 stick for the PSPGO? it makes no sense to not have this function. You’re required to read them off of memory sticks for the PSP, and yet you can only store comics on the internal memory for the PSPGO
