The PlayStation Recap

57 13

In a week bursting with big big big news, one announcement stood out above all others: the final and confirmed release date of November 24th, 2010 for Gran Turismo 5. Release date changes are no fun for anyone, but I was thrilled to see PS3 gamers staying patient and positive while the release date was finalized. Thanks again for all your patience, and please let us know what you think of GT5 when it hits the PS3 on November 24th with over 1000 cars, stereoscopic 3D support, a new track editor, and countless other new features.

In other news: The new Nazi Zombies mode in Black Ops is taking all of my time, as expected. I’m thrilled by the slick new graphical presentation and gameplay tweaks, and I’m looking forward to playing more maps soon. If you’re up for it his weekend, my PSN I.D. is shumanji. Let’s show those zombies who’s boss!

    • finally someone mentions Black Ops(or any multiplatform title) on the PS Blog… sometimes i think the PS Blog sees the Multiplat titles as a plague.. they shouldnt be overlooked.. i can understand that this Blog likes to focus on Playstation products, but multiplat titles are as much PS products as anything else… more mentions on these titles please… especially since the PS3 is trying to take away from the other sides’ sales…

    • Very little of substance here, nor is much of it factual an nothing worth repeating. Anyone who still thinks GT5 will make this fictitious release date works for the sony propaganda department.

    • Do you actually not know about the problems that many people are having with their consoles because of 3.50, or do you just choose to ignore them all?

    • This has been a huge week!

      Highlights for me:
      GT5 announcement
SingStar coming to Hong Kong (metioned on SCEH’s Facebook)
KB’s message to Canada (hoping he sends a similar message to Hong Kong soon)
      A great Home update
Deadstorm Pirates available for download (hopefully coming to more regions)

    • @53: The discs have been manufactured and they’re shipping to stores. Remember, the last delay was because the manufacturing window for the discs was missed.

    • Spacerac, I dont believe you nor does anybody else, a previous poster completely debunked that lie already. Give it up kid your a proven liar. Btw, it was Herman Goering who claimed “if you tell a lie enough times people will believe it”. Anyone who knows history can tell you what happened to him. The time for your lies has passed. Sorry kid but you’ve been pwned and its obvious to all. Now do us a favour learn how to read and comprehend before you attempt running your mouth again.

    • Ok so, I’m a proven liar but November 24th hasn’t even happened yet. That’s quite hilarious. Why don’t we wait until the date arrives and we’ll see who’s lying “honest 1987.”
