Medal of Honor for PS3: High Value Target video

61 3

Here at EA, we want to make sure our PlayStation 3 fans know that we’re listening. That’s why we we’ve created The MOH Experience, a series of uncut and unedited single-player and multiplayer videos put together to show our audience what they can expect when Medal of Honor launches on October 12th.

In this third installment, titled “High Value Target,” we’re giving you a look at Medal of Honor’s multiplayer.

The mode being played in the video is called Combat Mission. Coalition forces are tasked with clearing five consecutive objectives to win and the insurgents must stop them at any cost. As objectives are cleared, new areas of the map open up to reveal what the coalition must do next. The team health meter represents coalition reinforcements. If it’s depleted before the current objective is cleared, the match ends and coalition forces are stopped.

You may have also noticed the Bradley Fighting Vehicles as well. It can seat both a driver and gunner. This particular map requires that coalition forces use them strategically to break through certain points of the map and eventually achieve victory.

Combat Mission is just one of the ways you’ll step up to Tier 1 when Medal of Honor launches on October 12th, 2010 for the PS3.

  • I’ll stick to my Killzone… Or Call of Duty.

Sorry EA! You guys are still awesome though. Crysis 2?

  • Lost my sale EA/Dice dosent listen.

  • Where are the “monthly dynamic themes and premium avatars” we were promised on the 6/24 blog about PlayStation Plus? We got nothing in August and so far only 1 in September.

  • Ohnoes, it looks slightly like that other popular shooter by Dice. Gimme a break, of course its gonna look like that. And yes, it does play like Rush, except the controls look tighter. It’s a more streamlined way of playing Rush.
People griefing with the same old issues that can be applied to any modern FPS. Let’s just see how the game *plays* before would-be Solomons pass judgment.

  • The hit-detection looks it could still use a bit of work- Other than that, this game is looking pretty sharp now, compared to the Beta test a few months back. Give us a MOH demo before release so we can see how much this game has changed since the Beta DICE!

  • This game looks so awesome!! I’m a HUGE Battlefield fan so DICE working on the multiplayer is a win for me!!

  • I am reading all these comments saying it looks like BC2, and its BC2.5, yet most of you are saying your getting cod:bo?

COD:BO is using MW2’s enigne, in all the video’s its an MW2 clone, but your not complaing about that or calling it MW2.5 which is basically is.

There will be simlarties between BC2 and MoH, they where developed at the same time and use the same engine, the frost bite 2.0 engine.

Unlike cod which was developed on the 360 then ported, this game was made on the ps3 then will be ported to the 360, that should count for something.

  • I can’t wait for this game! I hope that the majority of the community buying this game comes from the Battlefield community. I can’t stand the Call of Duty community anymore. Also can’t wait to see the next Medal of Honor Experience video.

  • @thebigb82

Agreed, except that Black Ops is actually using a modified IW3 engine, similar to the one used in World at War. So, if anything, Black Ops will look worse than MW2. Or it might not, I’m not writing off the game yet.

  • this looks incredible. can’t wait for the final game!

  • Anyone know if VIPs get BBC2 Vietnam for free?
