Superman: War of the Supermen

A world-shattering war is coming thanks to General Zod, and only Superman can save the day… This comic is set to change the whole DC universe, no less! This is the start of a great series – you can’t miss out.

New Arrivals

This week we have the release of four new issues of Vampire Hunter D Volume 2! Good news for the manga and horror fans out there. For those who haven’t caught-up, the mysterious D is back to investigate a chilling murder mystery. A new breed of vampires appears, a beautiful villager with a shady past offers her help, and the plot thickens. Now we have all six issues of Volume 2 there for you to read, enjoy.

Back in this world (probably), Captain America returns this week with six more issues – and it’s not just any issues we’re bringing you there. This here is the full second arc of a very traumatic storyline for our hero… I won’t spoil it for those who don’t know, but you should be worried!

Someone else gets in trouble this week: the gifted street thief Aladdin! Take a trip down memory lane and read all about Aladdin’s adventures alongside Jasmine the runaway princess, evil Jafar, genies and flying carpets. And Abu the monkey.

Finally, Prog 1691 is now available. The long-running series of 2000AD Progs is packed with stories involving the famous Judge Dredd, Nikolai Dante, Sinister Dexter, and many more. If you’re looking for a weekly fix of Sci-Fi and Fantasy, this is it.

And if you missed out on San Diego Comic-Con 2010, why not re-live the best parts (without the crowds)? Check out our 4-part series on the PlayStation YouTube site.

  • lets go see whats good!!??

  • Heck Yea!!! Another free comic. Thank you so much. Words cannot express the level of committment that you provide for us. Sometimes it almost brings me to tears.

  • Still waiting for the locke and key 6th issue on the comic store. And whats with the first locke and key bundle being more than the issues together?

At least theres more of bayou to sink my teeth into.

  • Hmmm.

Wait a sec is this in Canada? o.o

  • I hope the Comic Store will come to the Canada soon…!

And that we’ll be able to read them on the PS3 too! I’m not and “handheld” gaming guy, never will…

  • I don’t see anything new for me this week so I will probably finish off Fables this week.

PSN Comics have got me back into comics and I have been going to the local comic book store. So Keep up the great work.

  • “Peg Leg Pete’s Memorable Night” — Ha! Well that sure sounds like it could be interesting. I’ll probably pick up another Durham Red and start Infinity Gauntlet.

Now where is the final issue of “Cages”?

  • is this coming to canada ever? at least let ppl know.

  • That was a really cool video! Thanks.

  • Cool, free comic! Love the comic store. If I may make a few requests: Deadpool and Moon Knight from Marvel, and anything from Bongo Comics Group would be awesome! Glad to see continued support for the PSN comics store from so many publishers.
And I echo the sentiments of those above, you’d sell a lot more if I could read these on my PS3 as well.

  • Um more Manga please?

  • Thanks for the update Grace!

  • Ugh. How long is it going to take for the G.I. Joe comics from IDW to be updated?

The regular series is two issues behind, Cobra is two issues behind, Hearts and Minds is two issues behind, Origins is one issue behind, the Helix Special has yet to be released digitally (but in print in August of 2009), and Real American Hero (the new continuation series) is behind by two issues.

Has something changed between Sony and IDW since May or June?

  • Add Digital Comics to the PS3 or No Buy. I’ll say this in each and every blog post until someone smart enough at Sony listens.

  • Veronica Belmont is SO Awesome! looking forward to next weeks Qore episode :D

  • That stiuff is a lil over rated… i mean its kool cuz of the grphics like a ebook. but think they should just expand and start selling actual books for the psp. so they can compete with the new “nooks” and stuff… but wutever..

  • I cannot find the digital comic store in the playstation store via my ps3.

  • think well see any green arrow or flash on the store anytime soon ?
