  • Solid-Snake-Eyes

Where’s our 2nd Plus mini and 2nd theme?

  • Any word on Vagrant Story?

  • Ive been anticipating the PSone classic Crash Team Racing…
Come on Sony! It has been on the EU store for a while and I’m sure many alongside myself will buy it in an instant.

  • Where is my free FieldRunners? can someone please give me some Closure?

  • you what would make play station home really worth it?? If you unlocked things in it by achieving trophies. EG: Motor storm 2 apartment for unlocking platinum trophy the game. Or if you partnered with the people that make sims 3 and merge games. Then I would totatlly buy PSN+. Until then Im saving up with my recession captured wallet.

  • Solid-Snake-Eyes

And I mentioned this the last 2 weeks but please write what system the game is for in your Updates section. Thanks!

  • When are we gonna get “Crash Team Racing”? The EU has had it for a long time now and we still don’t.

  • Oh, yeah, please return the otherOS feature… I want my 15 GBs of partitioned space back!

  • Pretty good update, I’m happy. Will NA ever get Vagrant Story??

  • Another worthless PSP update…

PS3 side is not much better either. You guys should start something like the Summer of Arcade.

  • I wish PS+ didn’t require tax. I bought a $50 PSN Card and turns out I also need a $10 card also. Either way, great update! :)

  • I’m a + user, Grace I would like to thank the 3.4 update and the support sony has given to the users. I Would like to know if the monthly update for psn+ users(for example july monthly update) is going to be at the end of the month, at the beggining, just in the middle? I’m looking forward to it.
    Thanks a lot.

  • @42

Maybe, but it still doesn’t explain the absence of promised content. On this blog, we were promised Fieldrunners in addition to dynamic themes each month. Neither are here.

  • @18 Agreed, but mainly because of inFamous.

  • Still no sign of Vagrant Story (or ANY PSOne “Classic” this week).

My hopes of the US PSN getting Threads of Fate and (the upcoming) Legend of Mana like the JPN PSN are severely diminished.

It is also sad to see that the “free” PSN+ games are rentals only. Digital distribution is already shady enough with the DRM they sneak in (I’m looking at you Final Fight: Double Impact).

  • I just bought hot shot tennis: get a grip. the demo was really fun. i just couldnt put it down. it reminds me a little of mario tennis from N64 with just way more customization. cant wait for it to finish downloading.

  • Downloading HOT SHOT TENNIS now…
where are the PS1 classics ?…
where is crash team racing ?…

  • I’ll say it again….. PSN+ for the first month is a waste to me. I already have like half the stuff listed up for free and discounted. Those of you that havn’t gotten Magic Obz you are really lucky to be getting a great game for cheap and all the DLC for free.

Another thing that bothered me is why would you choose inFAMOUS to be the FIRST one hour trial? I would say that about 80% of PS3 owners (if not more) had already played the demo or beat the game. That was a waste of a good game trail right there.

Im still not sure what to think about PSN+ yet. Not sure if i want to get it or not. I guess I’ll just have to see what next month offers. Also would depend on how long the free 3 months for year offer will last. That would also play into my thinking of getting it or waiting to see what the next months hold.

  • I’m a Qore subscriber and I want to upgrade to PlayStation Plus. Is there a discount or other incentives from Sony?

  • I agree, where’s the dynamic themes we are suppose to get? One static theme isn’t even suppose to be a part of Plus.

    PlayStation Plus: Your Questions Answered

By Susan Panico // Sr. Director, PlayStation Network

    QUOTE –
First off, at launch, PlayStation Plus will offer subscribers the full PlayStation Network game, WipEout HD,
PSP minis and PS One Classics such as Fieldrunners, Age of Zombies and Rally Cross,
full game trial of inFAMOUS, as well as free monthly episodes of Qore – our high-definition,
    interactive gaming lifestyle show.

Each month there will be dynamic themes, premium avatars and premium game elements/add-ons for you to
download and many will be exclusive to PlayStation Plus members only.
These are yours to keep forever once you have downloaded them.

    Now lets see….

    WipEout HD – Check
    Age of Zombies – Check
    Rally Cross – Check
    inFamous – Check
    Fieldrunners – Missing
Qore – Missing (I personally dont care as I was a annual subscriber anyways, but for those who were not, I’m sure they would like details as to how/where they get this.)

    Dynamic Themes – Missing

I had already owned Age of Zombies, aswell as inFamous. Was looking forward to Fieldrunners and the Dynamic Themes.
    Yet, they are all missing.

Not a good start Sony, false advertising is not a way to keep customers…

  • Not sold on PS+ yet, if we get access to a beta for FFXIV or DC online, then maybe.

  • Are PSN+ updates weekly or monthly? Doesn’t have to be a weekly free game, just something like weekly discounts or free weekly avatars maybe?

  • Finaly….Midway Arcade Treasures Extended Play for PSP on the psn…Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Really nice ps3 update too. I like the the video editor and uploader. Thank you for that too. I went ahead and gave plus a try even though I already own most of what was offered for free this month. I expect to be impressed in the next coming months. Show me my $50 was well spent. Keep up the good work and try not to disappoint …..Please.

  • @71 Uraizen – They are monthly.

  • What’s good? Can we get some Xenogears on the PSN please? =)

I am gonna download Hot Shots Tennis. I am real surprised it is over a gig though.

  • Fantastic. Getting Hot Shots Tennis and the Fat Princess “Fat Roles”.

But whatever happened to the Patapon 3 demo?

  • Where’s Patapon 3 demo? In hell? Poor update, very poor.

  • @67 tagout – Nope, if you (like me, I had 6 months left on mine) had a previous Qore sub, you more or less forfit your remaining subscription fee. You still get the episodes as they are now part of PSN+, but you dont get anything new, anything back or any discount.

  • can you guys confirm if naruto ultimate ninja storm 2 demo is comming out

  • Seidnerz_is_WINS

When’s the US getting the Patapon 3 multiplayer beta?

  • Interesting update, nothing impressive for the PSP and a bad week in terms of PS1 classics. Still no Vagrant Story :(.

  • squallxlionheart

Not too bad… Im now a PSN+ suscriber

    Still needs Castle Crashers
    Cross Game Voice chat

    Would be nice for
More blu ray games on PSN

Still need a solution for the backwards compatibillity problem too..dont act like people dont want it.

  • Where r all the new game demos? Blur for 1?

  • Psikorps I agree, btw Qore begins next month with the July 2010 episode. We are still missing the dynamic themes though and of course Fieldrunner.

  • Dear Playstation,

It’s been over 6 months now. Vagrant Story is available for the Japanese and European PS Store. Where’s the US release, hm? Any explaination as to WHY it hasn’t been released here yet? What about PSP games, huh? There are still tons not yet available in digital format for those who were suckered into buying your PSPgo (fortunately, not me). Also, why does the European store have better sales on games than we do? Doesn’t really seem fair…

You guys want us to shell out more money for this PS+ B.S. and you won’t even accomodate to your customers requests? Do you guys not want our money? Grace, if you and the people at Sony have any decency left, you could at least explain why some of these requests are downright ignored and why we should pay you more cash when you don’t deliver to your dedicated fanbase.

Now watch, this comment will just be ignored…as always…

  • Nobody’s brought this up yet, but for those wondering about Fieldrunners, Qore and the other themes and such, you’ll probably see it next week. I’m guessing that Playstation+ stuff is going to go up all throughout the month, not just one day per month. Especially since the new Qore isn’t even out until next week (Or possibly the week after, due to extended E3 coverage.)

  • Where’s the LBP Sacktue of Liberty? :( ANd the Patapon 3 Beta :'(

  • This question is for Grace. I updated my PSP today and 2 of the formats under group content I don’t understand what they are. Could you please elaborate on them so I will know what they’re for? The first one is PCengine I have no clue as to what that means. and the 2nd is NeoGeo. Thank you and Jeff both in advance. P.S. Awesome update guys keep up the good work.

  • I cant believe sony screwed us little people. I’m sorry but giving the plus subscribers everything first is total [DELETED]. I bought the PS3 because the gave us great content for free. And now lets do the same thing as microshaft and charge people with stuff we should have given them in the first place. Most of us paid 600+ for the first PS3’s and most of the 60gb ones died due to overheating cause of your mistake Sony. Stop making us throw our money away if I wanted to do that I would have goten an Xbox 360.

  • There is nothing more irritating in life then asking a question here and no one even bothers to answer them. I see that quite a few people have asked wgere’s the missing content promised to the PSN+ adopters relating to dynamic themes and the actual game of Fieldrunners and not even a response. Why bother having a comment section at all? Isn’t the purpose of it to know what you’re fans concerns are, what they may or may not be happy with and of course answering their questions?

I can understand not answering everyone but to dismiss them altogether is inexcusable.

  • I have been trying to sign up for PSN+ all day but every time I try to confirm the purchase I get error #80023102. I can’t add funds to my wallet either, but I can download free items from the store and use other online features.

  • still not seeing the appeal of PSN+ as some of the stuff I have already

  • @85, I hope you’re right. I’m going to be pissed if I bought PSN+ under false pretenses. Fieldrunners and the dynamic themes were definitely selling points for me this month.

  • just so im clear, you’re no longer going to be doing regular permanant price cuts, instead giving any kind of discount to the people that pay for plus? and on top of that, theres going to now be “PLAYSTATION PLUS” at the top of the updates?

just where does plus come in for the psp owner? we get discounts on what ps3 get. minis and psone games. thats why i wont be a plus member, its focus is on the ps3 owner, and much like the line up of updates, psp comes in last for sony.

just to recap my “heres hoping for a good update”
“bad updates for psp for three+ months…maybe something big will happen at e3”
    “okay…e3 was a failure…maybe the week after e3 they’ll have content”
“nothing to worry about…maybe with the release of ps+ ill finally see some great psone games, maybe hopefully a psp game thats not about sports”
and now today “maybe after TGS…”

thanks sony, you really know how to nickel and dime people and still manage to give people nothing unless they’re part of the ps3 fanbase.

  • I’m more confident then ever before that they ready the post and hit the submit button before they go home for the night. It would explain the lack of comments and Ro’s appearance the day after on last weeks post.

  • The latest PSP firmware created PC Engine (Turbografx-16) and Neo Geo categories when organized by platform – is this a sign that NA will be getting games from these consoles? If so, when?

  • @87-Nobody’s mentioned much about this yet, but hopefully this means that we’ll be getting downloadable PC engine (better known as the Turbografx-16 in the US) and Neo Geo games for the PSP. There’s already some TG-16 games that can be downloaded from the Japanese store, so maybe they’ll be following suit in the US soon.

  • @fribee

Bbbbbut PSP got Marcus. That’s gold right there.

I should remind you of Gamescom that is in Germany in August.

  • i realy laugh every time i go to the US Blog When you are saying the eu gets better.WOW 1PS1CLASSIC GAME Crash team racing. And you in usa are getting ps + cheaper.
