  • Please announce the video store for canada at E3 PLEASE~

  • Still hoping you’ll allow us to purchase an entire TV SERIES with one click, it’s much too difficult to get much more than one show on PSN as is.

  • what is soccer??
i know the biggest sportevent is going on from now to the next month.. you know the world cup in football!

  • Excellent….less than one week to the Video Store Canada reveal…

  • @4
    Funny!!!

  • If you want a video store in Canada, then contact your Liberal, NDP, Bloc MPs and tell them not to oppose Copyright reform in Canada. That’s what’s holding it back.

By all means hold your breath for E3, but do yourself a favour and call the paramedics first.

  • Wow Korbei83, you couldn’t be more wrong.

The proposed copyright reform couldn’t be more anti-consumer only an idiot(or a publisher) would want that.

Plus it won’t change any of the hurdles that slowed this down so much.

The delay is a pure Sony screw up that nobody wants to accept responsability for and nothing more.

  • Canada.

  • Korbel & Grace Chen both need to buy themselves a clue. It has nothing to do with canadian legislation. Its evertything to do with Sonys inept mismanagement. Microsoft has done this years ago with thier zune service on the 360, including canada and other locals. They are making large amounts of cash on this service while Sony flounders losing millions on thier foolish “business practices” & banning people who complain about being ripped off with shoddy substandard service. There is a few things in this update I’d buy if Sony had gotten their act together & made it avalable. But its purely sonys loss as I and many others have moved on. I can be at the local video store in 5 minutes getting these same shows & movies. Or I could be getting it with video on demand via cable or sat & never leave my house. Sony being both manufacture of hardware & distrbutor of movies, tv & music can deliver this service & make money on it as their competitors have. The obvious fact that they’ve miserably failed is no ones fault but their own.

  • Canada.

  • Anyways, Thanks for the video update! haha

    =P

  • Canada? I want Grace Chen in the UK..

  • You are dead to Canadians, Sony. ;) But seriously, I think you’ve missed the boat when it comes to bringing the video store to Canada. I think most people don’t care anymore. Shame on you for taking so long. Not hating, just being realistic.

  • Please let us view our purchased videos over Remote-Play.

  • am sorry for posting this here but i really wanted to check which PS3 can i buy which has backward compatability(so that i can run PS2 games as well). i was looking at the PS3 slim 250 & 120 GB but seems like they are not b/c…plz suggest..

  • The blog post when the video store finally gets announced is going to be epic.

  • @6…so why does iTunes operate in Canada?

@15 you need a 20GB/60GB for full PS2 or 80GB for partial PS2 compatibility. You’ll likely need to source them as used as they haven’t been made for quite some time.

  • The online video download service needs changes before Ill ever buy a thing. My ps3 doesn’t own the content, I DO.

  • @18…that will NEVER happen. The ‘future’ is licencing not ownership.

  • @6

Coming to Canada on July first (as stated in the E3 show)…I guess we get to stop holding our breath…eh?
