  • Decent update I guess. Joe Danger been getting great reviews, but it doesn’t look like the type of game that I would play a lot. Cubixx looks like a good PSP mini so I might get that.

And please what the status of Vagrant Story coming to PSN NA?

  • PSN Shouldn’t have announced FF9 imminent arrival 5 weeks ago if they were going to delay it till E3.

  • FINALLY! BURN ZOMBIE BURN: IN SPACE

Free DJ HERO mix is cool, DEADMAU5 rocks! Shame its got Lady GaGa tho……

    HEY SONY,
How about patching or fixing N2O: NITROUS OXIDE!!!!! It is broken and unplayable. The third party company for it doesn’t exist. It still gets stuck on the ‘plug a controller into port one’
PLEASE? My friends and I would like to play it…… its a fun classic game

  • FFIX will drop next week. E3 WEEK. just like FFVII. duh.

  • I want Grace Chen’s job. She probably gets paid more than I do to post a list of content updates (which was probably typed out by someone else), and that’s it. Must be the easiest “communications” job in the world, especially when you’re not required to answer a single post.

  • I am almost tempted to strictly forego and denounce everything PSN offers until FF IX is released. This is getting ridiculoso…..I know it takes time to get a game ready for a different region, but the game is already out in the EU, therefore, it should be out here. What is there to translate if the game is already in English? After I purchase Joe Danger, that is it until FFIX comes out…..I pledge a ban on making any purchases until we are all heard….who’s with me….anybody…..hello!!!! C’mon………. X D

  • Wow, Heavy Rain LBC costumes. I have to admit, that is totally unexpected.

Well, I’m not gonna complain about FFIX not being on here like everyone else, but I do have to ask, where is Gundemonium Collection? Wasn’t it set for last week like the PC version?

  • $14.99 for Joe Danger?

I was gonna pick the game up, but not at this price.

    Stupid, stupid, stupid.

  • why do people think just because its convenient, that it should be cheaper.

  • 108 @TheMissingLink

How about you “grow up” and try to back up your claim? Saying “I bet you she does a thousand other things!” makes you sound like an uninformed, and defensive, idiot.

  • You need to add Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3!!!!!
It was released 4 weeks ago today!!! You added the demo to the Playstation Network so it’s completely unfair to not add the game!!! It’s rude, mean, and shows that you don’t care about any of the people who bought ur stupid PSP Go!!!
I am never buying ANY system from playstation ever again!!

  • can we please get a price drop for the pixeljunk eden add-on (Encore).

  • Great update, people stop complaining about FF9 jeez

  • Grace,

I have a question. I don’t think this Tuesday update is working the best for us. A couple of weeks ago, when Rocket Knight came out, it was available on Xbox Live on Weds. Normally, we would have gotten it on the next day, Thursday, but it didn’t come out on PSN till the following Tuesday.

Now, Earthworm Jim is out on XBLA tomorrow, will we get it the following Tuesday? I think it was a bad idea moving the updates if new third party games will come out a week later than on Xbox Live. We basically get the updates 2 days earlier, but content 6 days later. Why can’t we get the newer 3rd party titles on the Tuesday the same week as Xbox gets them on Weds. It almost seems it worked out the old way so that MS could have the games available earlier for their customers. If this is how it is going to be with 3rd party games, how is Tuesday a benefit at all?

Great, we can get Sony content a couple of days earlier, but for games that Sony doesn’t create, then we are stuck. I would hope to get an answer for all of us, to clarify how this is a good option for PSN users.

  • HELL YEAH! I’ve been waiting and freaking out about not being able to play Peace Walker on my Go.

  • Manhunt 2 was $19.99 not $29.99 I know because I almost bought it today. Joe Danger( Excitebike) is overpriced :(

  • I wrote to Sid Human on his weekend post about Grace Chen’ lack of communication on all her blog posts, not just this one, and he said he’ll look into it. I don’t know if anything will happen soon, but spreading the word to other sony blog authors could help them become aware of this problem and maybe come up with a solution. Sadly, this issue isn’t new and in time, more and more people have become aware of this problem. People have been asking about FFIX for 3 weeks now, just one response could’ve been enough to “ease” most of that situation.

  • Professor_Otaku

Hey everyone. I just found out the REAL release date for Final Fantasy IX (FFIX)!!! *drum roll* !!!NEVER!!! The “big wigs” at Playstation are sitting on their hands and not releasing FFIX to the U.S.! Well… at least that’s what I think is going on. How else would you explain the LONG LONG LONG wait for FFIX?? I’m telling you, everyone. Don’t hold your breath. We aren’t getting FFIX anytime soon. I’ve just about given up waiting for a game that was release MONTHS ago in both Japan and Europe. Take it from me, move on and just play other RPGs… FFIX isn’t coming.

  • I’m not going to ask where FFIX is, because I’m still wondering where Vagrant Story is!!!

  • 109 @NEJI64
People don’t realize that Sony charges for content to be in their store like a brick and mortar. They expect it to be cheaper because they think the middle man is being cut out.

    110 @mywhitenoise
With E3 around the corner, I can only imagine how busy most Sony employees are. I do not envy them right now. But you are right, someone should take some time to reply to the comments.

    111 @moup94
They have said time and time again that it is up to the publishers to get the games on the ps store. You need to send an email to Namco about that one.

  • I can’t figure out if the EU blog has nicer users because the admin is nicer, or if the EU blog has a nicer admin because the users are nicer. Either way, our US blog seems to be uncivilized in comparision.

  • Lestatdelioncort

Whats with all this FFIX spam FFIX sucked you only like it causeof the stupid card game go play magic the gathering. If not then wait till E3 THEN youwill get your FFIX stop being spoiled FFIX impatient people. eh hem anywho GRACE AWESOME UPDATE METAL GEAR PEACEWALKER WOOOT I LOVE YOU RACE CALL ME

  • Like i said before they are waiting for e3 to release FF9! I think their presentation is on Tuesday too, so they’ll announce it then like they did with FF7 last year, even every other country has it already…

  • update good. NO FF9 BAAAAAAAD

  • FINAL FANTASY suck

  • Wow. unappreciative little fools!
Jeez, something has to be done to all you people crying over stuff.
MGS: PW came out today, and Joe Danger too!!! 2 incredible games and yet you still see people crying like little babies over FFIX.

Even I could tell you that Sony is saving it for an E3 announcement! MARK MY WORDS!!!

So stop gettin all your panties in a bunch and enjoy the gaming goodness that IS available TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oops i didnt see the Burn Zombie Burn Space DLC…. guess thats $3 i can at least spend.

  • @126

Maybe because those games don’t interest the people that are begging for FFIX.

  • wow grace thats a lot to keep track of lol

  • Downloading Joe Danger!!

  • Metal Gear? Wow, that was fast! See, Sony? You can be real fast WHEN YOU WANT TO.

Too bad too many games don’t deserve the AAA treatment Metal Gear does, right?

There’s something I cannot understand. The UMD version of Peace Walker costs $39.99, right? And the downloaded version costs… uhh… wait a second. OK, we got a deal winner right here.

Oh, you put Metal Slug XX in there! Too bad it isn’t Metal Gear, isn’t it?. Poor little game had to wait 4 months to be released here. Wow. That must have been some difficult conversion job…

Keep up the AAA work, Sony. Even if it’s just for Metal Gear :/

  • great update. alittle too expensive for me right now (holding out hope for aome awesome content on e3). though the price drop on dissidia looks great. a light is in sight that all psp games will drop in price eventually.

  • @114 earthworm jim is a 30 day head start to 360…we get it next month

love joe danger…hope to see more from hello games in the future

  • @Caudill

Yea. I play those classics on my PSP. Including suikoden, wild arms, etc. I don’t want to play them on my PS3 as I have a launch 60gb that I’m sure will die, so I want to keep the hours low on it for PS3 only titles. I use my PSP for the PS1 games. It costs less to replace should something happen to it.

  • Are your Guy being phucking stupid Final Fantasy 9 will be a E3 release that was plan for Sony E3 press conference to release something big at E3

  • So, I thought last week you said that manhunt 2 and the warriors were going to be 9.99 each, not 14.99, is that a mistake????

  • YESSSS!!! Finally Deftones on Rock Band!!!!!!!!
Now, if only MTV Games can get Glassjaw, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath Real Masters (Hell, if GH5 can get them, why can’t RB?), and the full ”Sunny Day Real Estate-Diary” album you promised NINE FRICKIN’ MONTHS AGO, I will finally buy your game.

p.s. Oh, and when in the hell are you going to release EA Replay for PSP and Jarrett & Labonte Stock Car Racing as a PSONE Classic? I’ve waiting since I got a PS3 for those two games.

p.p.s. Oh, and also what the deal with the ‘sedate’ Deftones songs? I would’ve really loved it if Harmonix would’ve included Bored, Be Quiet & Drive (Far Away), My Own Summer (Shove It), Hexagram, Back To School (Mini Maggit), and even COMD/CTRL from their new album.

  • Ahh yeah, Bloody Roar 2!

I’m all about the UMD’s so no PSP downloads for me. I already got my Peace Walker.

For clown wanting Grace’s job…I bet you’d crack in 5 mins. Show some respect.

  • Great update IMHO! Sadly now Transformers vids on PSN makes me a sad gamer. I pre-ordered it for my PS3 system and it would be vary nice to get such a major release for Transformers like War for Cybertron on the store considering the game launches on the 22nd this month. Please do that next time!

  • Sony is downright pathetic. Again, you get what you paid for. They don’t know how to release anything worthwhile.

It is pathetic, they are holding onto a 10 year old game, until E3, as if it will draw a lot of attention.

I think of it as an act of desperaty, because they probably need to announce as much as they can at their conference… even if that means a downloadable version of a 10 year old game.

    How pathetic.

  • @megax28, you mad ,you mad[camron style]

  • Alpha_Angel_MaxX

YAY MGS:PW!!! You see Sony u can put the download version of games the same day the UMD comes out. But I am still waiting for Naruto Ultimate ninja hero 3??? The demo did say summer so where is it? please let it be downloadable next week! T_T

  • Lestatdelioncort

UMDS are easy to brake and a drag to carry around so go downloading games in my psp! Watcha gonna do when your umd breaks huh huh. And you know your gonna buy FFIX when it comes out in the psn store and transfer it into your psp. come on don’t be a hypocrite. and if you wanna play FFIX go back in time, pop in your ps1 game, cause MGS PW equals EPIC PSN UPDATE EVA

  • Me wants uncharted 2 bundle.

I bet once Final Fantasy gets here, that person will complain about something else.

    It never ends.

  • Why all the bashing on the best FF ever? FFIX easily surpasses FFVII and is by far not the worst FF, that is reserved for FFXIII

  • Because they are immature children, and only contribute to make this blog even worse than it already is >.>
