Hi Everyone – Time for this week’s video store updates.

It was an exciting week in the world of sports. Catch all the action this weekend by downloading the Rampage vs. Evans UFC 114 Replay, NBA 2010 Finals or Stanley Cup 2010 Finals games to your PS3 or PSP.

Under ‘Featured Collections’ you can also check out the new Crackle collection featuring full length, unedited movies, TV shows and original programming including slick, sexy, and action-packed shows like The Bannen Way, Jace Hall, Trenches, and Urban Wolf. Plus, in celebration of the release of Alice in Wonderland we’ve pulled together some of Johnny Depp’s best films (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Edward Scissorhands, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Donnie Brasco, and more).

For all the Freebie followers, you can download a free episode of Kekkaishi , the popular new anime series airing on Adult Swim. Episode 1 will be free on the video store through 6/17. Looking for more great deals? Check out ‘Deal of the Week’ under New Releases to stock up discounted episodes of Ice Road Truckers Seasons 2 & 3, Penn & Teller Season 6, all 22 episodes from the first season of Farscape, or films like Illuminating Angels & Demons, and Hack.

  • Canada.

  • Your new video update blog format is useless. I don’t end up renting your videos anymore because of it.

Your old format clearly listed all of the new additions and prompted me to go on an rent stuff I wanted.

  • Canada.

  • as always, expensive and slow. Why I should stop using Netflix?

  • Looks like no new content was added to the video store this week just a few sales and promos.

  • Canada.

  • Any plans for streaming or at least lower priced rentals? I would gladly switch my Netflix for a $10 per month Sony service or $1-$2 rentals.

  • Canada.

  • qore is overdue

  • Would be nice to be able to buy an entire season of a TV show, takes too much clicking to get a season as is…

  • yea i rented the wolfman day it came up, good and wicked, PERFECT!

  • Canada please eh

  • The 4 year delay on the Canadian video store nobody is taking responsability for is beyond annoying.

I hope when it finally comes, no excuses are made and something is done to make up for it. (a couple of free movie download vouchers or something).

  • Canada…

  • Also, inFamous 2 announced!!!
Might I add, Cole looks different.

  • Rather then Saying Canada here where nobody seems to hear you
there is a place where your vote count

    just saying ppl ;)

  • @odin_final Been there, done that.

  • decent update

  • @16 No one seems to hear much of anything at all on the blog, no matter whats being said or in what area.
Unless of course whats being said is the brown-nosing drivel people like to spew out in hopes of getting a red reply.

I have heard Sony is going to bring the video content to Canada with a announcement at this E3…but I wouldnt bet money on it.

Besides, so many people have invested their video content money into iTunes and the 360’s video marketplace that it would most likely be to little to late for Sony even if they do finaly jump on te band wagon.

  • Love them boondocks ma fav show

  • Any new Entourage episodes? and If not when should we be getting the other seasons?

  • I have to echo reply number 2. Why are you showing the Top Rentals/Movies rather than what has just been added? I’m not going to go browse the store on my own because the video store is not that big of a deal to me. However, if I were to see something listed that I wanted to rent or purchase, then I’d go look for it.

  • The video on the blog does not play in the Playstation.Blog widget.

  • ThreeLeggedFreak

I cannot access Curb Your Enthusiasm S1 and S2 on Media Go or on PSP. Why?

  • Canada please eh

  • @18: What makes you so sure they don’t hear? Canadians whine constantly on the US blog. And Sony has already responded about the Canadian video store. You guys keep repeating yourselves over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. We know. Really. We all know. Sony knows. Even the monk on top of yonder mountain knows. Seriously. You guys can stop. We get it.

You’re drowning out any useful commentary.

Now, by that I don’t mean a Canadian video store isn’t important. I mean that message has already been delivered.

You can rest assured that Sony _would_ like to take your Canadian money. You probably never even needed to tell them that in the first place. I’m sure they had the idea even before you helpfully mentioned it.

  • Awesome. Any chance of getting the Pride of The X-Men cartoon pilot from the late 80’s (the animation quality obliterates most of Marvel’s other toons) or any of the Hulk cartoons from the 80’s? Also, Thanks for putting Castle up and Royal Pains!

  • @26
“What makes you so sure they don’t hear?”
The fact that there are virtually no red replies to virtually anything from the folks at Sony themselves on the blog. Most of the people who reply are developers/marketing folks.

“Canadians whine constantly on the US blog.”
This is not the US blog, it is the North American blog, but in true american fashion, it gets credit for only being for the US.

“Sony has already responded about the Canadian video store.”
In normal Sony fashion, which is why requests still persist.

“You’re drowning out any useful commentary.”
Useful commentary? In the Video store update? No such thing.
There are requests, which are just as easy to read between every other line of “Canada” nothings drowned out.

“Now, by that I don’t mean a Canadian video store isn’t important.”
    Thanks for the support.
