  • Jeez, living in Florida just aint cuttin it anymore.

  • this looks good! :D

  • What a surprised. LA again

  • NOOOOOOO!!!!!!! why everything has to be in LA ? what about NY ? ok im going to the playstation meet up june 13th hoping to get into sony’s E3 press conference , cant wait to play God of War Ghost of Sparta , i hope Ghost of Sparta will be at least a 12-15 hours game , only minor complain about Chains of Olympus is that it was a little bit too short but other than that still remains in my top 2 games in the history of the psp

  • Awesome! Great idea, Santa Monica.

@BlooodyCow that’s where the studio is… Can’t blame em, can you?

  • Why do people complain that it’s in LA? Hello, Santa Monica studios? Would you like them to fly PSP’s, and copies of the game to your podunk down in Alabama?

    Get real.

  • @5 UNCyrus
    No you can’t :P
BTW, read the new Killzone 3 preview from IGN?

  • Too bad it’s not in San Francisco. I’d definitely be there.

  • Damn, why can’t you expand out to Las Vegas? I’d be all over that like the blood of the gods on Kratos’ flesh. Hopefully at E3 I guess.

  • Too bad i don’t live near :/

  • Has there ever been ONE event in Florida?

  • Wish I could move out to Cali.

  • wth why not florida i mean sheash there r gamers out here u know if there is a playtest does that mean the game is almost done? if so when is the release date?

  • @ 1 and 11. Quiet you two. I live in Ohio. Land of terrible weather and even worse luck with sports teams. The only thing we have here is cheap prices and lots of booze (like Great lakes Brewing Co.)

  • I really like how guys are going about getting feedback and to have give an incentive is a nice bonus. Unfortuaftely I do not live in that area but if you do more test groups in say Chicago then give a shout out.

  • … I need to move to LA …

  • To Tyrsis
stop being such an ass. people can wish that they will come to where they live. I happen to also wish the same thing.

    Have A Good Day =)

  • Dice_for_Death_

This would’ve been nice, were I still living within driving distance of LA and this was offered a few months earlier. Still, good luck to the those that are eligible. I can wait until either the demo or retail game hits.

  • Why is this always in stupid LA?
come on playstation there is a world past orange county you know!

  • I got qustion why on chains when kratos jumps right before he lands the whole sceen shakes EVERY time? Also I’m glad there letting people play even though I won’t be there they could be Ahols and say wait untill it’s released.

  • I need two more trophies to Plat. GoW3. I also think its time for me two invest in a PSP, I’ll wait till after E3.

Plus I’m going to buy the God of War Novel tomorrow. I like the first chapter, I like how Hermes pushing up on Athena. The book seems like it gives a back story on how The Gods was reacting to Kratos actions.

  • When does Chicago get an event?! c’mon sony! I wanna try it the new GoW out ;)

  • I hope I get in! I just e-mailed them!! I love you SONY!! I hope to be there!!

  • i got 2 move 2 the city of angels…………

  • You LA god of war fans are damn lucky. Is this what jealousy feels like!?!?

  • @Anora_Lynn
How am I being an ass? Look at the replies here. More than half are complaining because it’s in LA.

Please excuse Santa Monica Studios for trying to make it convenient for themselves.

Why do all these guys feel they’re entitled to something?

  • damn i live in canada :(

  • So when will I know if I got into this awesome playtest?

  • i remember seeing on a Qore Episode a God of War comic , is it gonna get released in the comic section on the psp ? i really want to buy it !!!!

But you can keep God of War. XD

  • Hi Eric, completely unbiased viewer here, but you should probably pick that Evan candidate. Just sayin’.

  • God of war for my PSP right on! I wish to move to LA in a few years, it seems that LA gets alot of the fun.

  • this iz gonna be FAB! XD

  • damn…i wish i lived in LA

  • That’s an awesome opportunity. I’m on the other coast, but I can still appreciate the offer. LOVE GOW

  • That screenshot is of a PSP game? Holy cow.

  • The first God of War game on PSP sucked and i’m sure this one will too. God of War just isn’t a good game for the PSP.

  • ThreeLeggedFreak

This really should be for PSP2, no one buys PSP anymore, just look at the NPD numbers, this game will sell like 100k copies in the US, 100k in EU, and 10k in Japan :/

  • Aw, I wish I could go, I don’t live in California.. =( Send me a copy in the mail and I’ll play!

  • @1…..I feel your pain. I have all the requirements except I live in Florida.

  • we need this for ps3 also…cmon… lol..

  • Sad that I don’t have some of these requirements. Would have really loved to try it !

  • awwww, that’s my graduation day :(

  • East Coast gamers shafted again… I envy all you Californians.

I would love to play test God of War or -ANY- game in development. Just being able to provide insightful feedback and the thought that one of your ideas could make it into a fully published title is exciting.

SCEA, when are you guys opening a branch near Washington DC?

  • “Live in the LA area with reliable transportation to the playtest.”

Oh well. I’ll just have to get the game when it comes out.

  • Sony + GOW > Graduation Day! ;)

  • That picture up there is SO GOOD that it’s my computer wallpaper… No lie!!!!.jpg

    I must say that I can’t wait….

When can we get our hands on a demo? :D I’d love to play some of it, even if it’s only 1/8th of a level… I just only live on the EXACT OPPOSITE side of the country, here in Maine… :(

  • “Live in the LA area with reliable transportation to the playtest.”

Why does everything has to be in Amerika?
I mean what about Denmark or at least scandinavia?

  • I have everything……only that im 16………why must there be an age limit? what if one of my parents goes too lol

  • You do realize there are other places in the world besides California, right?

    Get a freakin’ clue.
