In anticipation for our ModNation Racers release on May 25th, and to celebrate ModNation May, we are going to drop some free ModNation DLC before we even launch the game! So what DLC are we hooking you up with?
I’d like to introduce you to Air Raid!
Get an AIRMEN CAP and FLIGHT JACKET to use on any one of your Mod creations!
Air Raid is a sweet Mod that drives an even sweeter Fighter Plane Kart. If you’re lucky enough to get a voucher for this character, you don’t just get to play as Air Raid, but you can get all the accessories that come with him to create your own “Ace” driver and slick Air Fighter-styled kart.
Pilot your Kart with a YOKE steering wheel or take aim with CROSS HAIR hood ornament.
So the big question is, “How do I get a voucher, Chuck?”
We will be giving away a bunch of voucher codes in many different ways, and we will let you know which ones right here on the PlayStation.Blog.
The first site that is hooking you up is our friends at GameSpot! They are planning on doing two code drops, with the first one being on May 10th. They have a limited quantity, so be sure to get in there before they run out.

I think just making this available for free on the PSN would generate more interest and people who were contemplating would have a reason to buy on the release date.. Just Saying.

Hey how about giving every who buys a new copy of the game one of those vouchers. Gamestop stop profits from the second and third sale of a title. Sure they will move some units but the employees for the most part do not care about the customer. They often do not even realize there are pre-order bonuses at all. They also have a neat habit of selling my pre-paid copy even before I am able to get to the location.
I suggest dropping a line with resetgames.com they also do the used and new market but promote games and hold tourneys on the system they use to allow customers to often try before buying.
I for one truly despise twitter for instance as a medium for rewarding players. I do not live with my cellphone.
My copy is totally pre-paid by the way. My six year old and I have been waiting for the game since the US beta.
I’m buying your game. I’m spending $60 to get it. Why do you have to make me jump through hoops to get this? It’s ridiculous.

Yes there has been all costumes and karts and extra add-on content for this game so far. I hope you don’t start doing what MM is doing with LittleBigPlanet. We want new maps/levels also! Probably more than costumes

I have become just as excited for ModNation Racers as I have been for Gran Turismo 5. (and that is saying alot)
I am planing on picking up a Wheel and Pedal setup for GT5,(a Logitech G27 or Driving Force GT) and was wondering if I would be able to use a Wheel & Pedal setup with ModNation Racers?

There will be no shortage of tracks….trust me….there are people during the beta who where insanely talented with the tools….
As it stands the Mod creators can pretty much do any character as it is right now….
