What is all this talk about beta codes? I didn’t see anything about him giving beta codes. This won’t have a 3 dimension fighting arena right? Can I a beta if they exist?
Only around 30 characters makes me a sad panda. I’ll still purchase day one, I’ll just be sad about it.
Yeah it would have bee foolish not to make MvC3. Look at the success of the retro release of MvC2. The demand is there.

But seriously how can anyone confirm only 30, and this is the first official post. I just hope it plays better then mvc2, I mean mvc2 is awesome but thats my option. I really hope its at the same speed and add some more moves to guiles list. I also hope they keep Charles in.
I think Albert Wesker is a bit over due to be in a fighting game. Why don’t they just add all the notable characters from the R.E. series?

Cool, I wonder what other Capcom VS series would appear next. I’m thinking Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter, it has to happen at some point.
I wanna swear really really bad, for good reasons. This is soooo tight. I am very very very happy. But, let me nit pick a little, since its the blog. I really really wanted yah to bring Tatsunoko vs Capcom over. This looks like it but with NT. But, same mechanics right, but deeper and harder gameplay? I would have preferred HD sprites. Hope the online experience is better than the rest.

Wow…. I can’t believe this! a MVC game for the PS3 (not ported) fully built for the PS3. Awesome. I begin playing MVC when it was released on the Arcade, I was 11 when I first started popping quarters into the machine(s) and challenging people after people.
I can’t wait for the opportunity to play this game!

So are they really going to make it a cross of graphics between sf4 and svc? Because, making the graphics something like ssf2hd remix would be tons better. I’m not against 3D but I don’t know. I’m really pumped though. Hope the list of characters is big.

What beta codes? Lol you think this would be a public beta? Yeah right, I’m sure if theres any beta is dev’s only. This isn’t a fps dude.
Well, I will absolutely buy this game no matter what, due to the Marvel fanboy in me. But I will say I’m a bit disappointed in the fact that you guys said you’re shooting for 30+ characters. That’s a big step down from the 56 of MvC2. It should be at least 50. And that also means, that since there will certainly be new characters, that my personal favorites from MvC2 won’t be in like Thanos and Silver Samurai.
PLEASE BRING THANOS BACK!!! He’s my favorite Marvel Character, one of my favorites to use in MvC2, and Marvel is Ressuracting him this summer after unceremoniously killing him of in Annihilation. Please bring back Thanos.
Other returning character I want are Juggernaut, Sentinel, Venom and Cable
Also, from the two roster pics you’ve released I’ve noyiced some shadowed characters I’m glad you’re adding. Deadpool and Super Skrull are great additions. Nightcrawler is meh.
My personal most wanted character is APOCALYPSE!!!!!
If you look at the background you can see Dead Pool on the lower left right by Chun-Li! And on the right has C. America and Felicia and hopefully the guy with the sword is Dante.

I would have to agree that you can’t down grade a game to 30 from 56. It’s just dumb, now replacing some of the characters from the 56 and maybe adding like 30 characters onto it after the replacing is something i could live with. Maybe a internet survey could be made for character replacement?
