Aspiring rock stars can breathe a sigh of relief – SingStar is finally coming to PlayStation Home this Thursday, September 24. And to top it off, we’re kicking off the launch with an extra special event.
Those of you who visit the new SingStar space this Thursday will find that the critically-acclaimed UK rapper Dizzee Rascal has taken over the VIP lounge. To celebrate the release of his new album Tongue n’ Cheek (and his new SongPack available now at the SingStore), we’re decorating this super elite space with all things Dizzee Rascal, airing some exclusive Dizzee videos, and dropping a bunch of Dizzee-themed virtual items on you (including a few limited edition rewards for all attendees). Far Cry 2 fans will be excited to learn that the FC2 game space is being updated with a new mini-game entitled “Reuben’s Report”. This whodunit game will appeal to all of you sleuthy and snoopy types that love to hunt down arms dealers, thwart assassination attempts, and prevent all types of sabotage via explosive devices. Y’know, stuff you do on quiet Sunday afternoons to help pass the time…
Last but certainly not least, we’ll be releasing a handful of new items for your avatar, including Scuba Guy and Space Girl costumes, some Katamari Forever-themed virtual goods, and more.

This is why so many people have a sour taste in their mouths towards the managers. Not a word about 1.3. Little rid bits of info here and there. Barely any open communication. When will it change? Is another staff division needed?

I use to own a 360 but sold it for a ps3 this is the only console i own, but i was only giving my opinion about HOME that’s all.
there must be a ton of people with absolutely NO LIFE! if they are spending all this time in home. i barely find time to play the games i want to on my ps3. no time to wander around a pointless virtual space created to sell me [DELETED]!

I have to agree with the general angst on this blog and in the forums. We were told 1.3 in September. Tomorrow is the last Thursday in September. Are you going to release it on another day of the week? Oh, sorry. I forgot I’m addressing someone who doesn’t respond to Home’s biggest supporters. SCEA, it’s time to clean house. If you dont do that HOME is just something diferent from PS network and that make users turn their back to it
Also allow users to upload their videos and music to their HOME spaces through virtual TV’s and music players and make posible the diferent HOME version (EU,US,JP) interaction and HOME becomes a success

It seems quite obvious that until people vote with their pocketbooks, Sony is going to keep doing this. I don’t mean to be a complainer Locust, but is 1.3 still coming in September or not? It can’t be that hard to answer that question. Is your boss not allowing you to say anything? If so, and it is coming in September there are only about 7 days left in September. Why would it need to be kept secret if it is indeed approaching that fast? That endlessly confuses me. :(
Oh well, such is life. lol. It isn’t the end of the world, but it would be great to know the reasoning. Maybe once I have finished earning my Bachelors Degree in Game Development and get hired as a Game Developer I might find out why. Until then, the lack of information will probably remain as mysterious as Area 51. :(

I have paid a lot of money and so have a lot of other people that use home, so as your bosses and inspiration that help fund this project we deserve why we can’t have the 1.3 update. Please give us an update on progress otherwise I am boycotting and not spending any more money on this destined-to-be-useless product until you can provide answers. Considering I was one of the closed beta testers I have been a supporter since October and it seems you have failed to meet up to any standards that your consumers expect of you. All we ask is to be heard and honesty of your product in exchange for how much patience and loyalty we have given you. As I fall into your early adult demographic and have enough sense to know when enough is enough I hope that other users will follow this stand and you will finally know how important we are to your job. This may sound like a threat but in this case I am only representing the people who enjoy home but are frustrated with how much you take advantage of our patience and money.

thanks but i and some of the people i go online with would like to know if you are coming up with a feature that you can share downloadable content like clothing you know how some friends barrow your close and such well kinda like that and some sort of open chat for people with head sets and blue tooth head sets and also will some of the content thats older well it ever get free like some of the clothing costumes and houses also it would be nice to be able to redesign the apt we already have with in the set peramaters you give us also give us full exsploration of home like connect every thing like a big city with like a water frount or some thing and alow us to at lest put our avatars legs in that water you have created i like secound life and its kinda like it but the characters are much more believe able in the ps home but i am a big RPG guy and i like your different areas you can exsplore i just wish you could travel more than just a cuple of rooms in each area
also some of the ladies i know what to have a feature to make them look thicker in the hips and thighs and the guys would like to have muscles would that be a option too some time soon

hello i am a fellow play station home user and i would like to see content sharing with friends if possible with only the clothing side also i am a thick woman and i would like for my avatar to look some what like me can you add some sort of upgrade too the character body screen please cause i have hips and thighs and every body looks kinda the same don’t you think also with the men beef up there bodies too not every one whats to look skinny i mean show us some muscle upgrades to our character some thing please thank you
