I’ve brought this up before but is there any reason there are not more full downloadable games on PSN like Burnout Paradise, Warhawk etc.? That whole thing seems to have come to a grinding halt. Given there are a lot of older and 2nd tier titles that would get a fresh lease of life by being put on PSN I would’ve thought it’d be a certainty. The God of War Collection also on PSN would be a guaranteed hit.

Sincerely, I was eagerly waiting for another peek at E3 or gamescom. Yet SCEA showed same ‘Official Trailer’ at E3!

I just got the PS3 slim when it first released. Uncharted is the only game I currently own. I want to play it, but if I can’t, let me know. I’ll return it for a full refund. But for the sake of God, let us know if its going to be this week or later, as in the next couple of weeks.
Speaking of football we need NFL avatars and other goodies. Same with NBA and MLB, got to represent you know?

Seems a little unfair that the the newest handheld from Sony is getting left in the dark…
@ 51 the reason why there are not alot of games like warhawk and burnout on the psn to download is because of the games size . there to big to download from psn , that why we have blu ray disc for the ps3. microsoft can pull this of because most of there games are small in size . i have both systems and there games on demand is very weak only 1 good game to buy is mass effect the rest are 3 to 5 year old games that wasn’t good on disc except the first halo from the old xbox games on demand suck.

Hi Jeff, I’m thinking about starting my Own PSP Games Development Studio. I know that Sony recently dropped the price of the SDK but does that also include the developer unit? Also any info on when the mini store/ app store is being released would be of great help.

@ 68 name 1 that you are talking about? you can’t download mag, uncharted 1 or 2 , R 2 , Killzone 2 from the psn due to it’s size . lol you guys have to understand without the blu ray technology most if not all these can not possible work. there are alot more games for the 360 where you can pull this off where you can download it from xbl .
@ 68 sorry for the second post but if your talking about games like Call of duty modern warfare 1 or 2 then i have no ideal of the game size of that game because am not a big fan of that game but it not on xbl games on demand so don’t think you could . they do have an old Call of duty but it’s from the old xbox system . LOL mine rule is that if your game size is small enough to be downloaded from psn or xbl then you not getting my 60 bucks.

Again. It is simple. Any Multiplatform game is going to be under 8GB in size. Here are some that PSN could add:

These are all on the competitors service and would have the same dl size on the PSN presumably.

anyone getting uncharted 2 i want to let you know. My friend and i wend to Best Buy and reserved two copies, for some reason they were free. The girl called managers and all over to find out what the problem was. They kept ringing up for free. So my friend an i both walk out with free golden guns. So we went straight to gamestop and reserved them and got the early demo, and revenge power(or whatever it is called). You should all try it. thanks and see you online.

Thanks for the reply Jeff, I think all the fans just want to know SOMEONE out there is listening to how badly the West wants this game. Especially with the history of the series.
Vesperia PS3 is gonna be the determining factor in keeping/buying a PS3 for a lot of people believe, and a giant insult to the PS3 RPG community if it does not get a port at this point.
Yeah we understand its a Namco Bandai game and out of your guy’s hands at the moment but do NOT underestimate the power of this port like everyone else is. I think this would also help restore a lot of loyalty and faith in Sony’s “RPG Starved Fanbase”.
I also realize we should all be patient, but just as patience is a virtue its only so when you know the thing your waiting for actually exists.
Either way you guys have been doin great lately, FW 3.0 is great, a few nick-nacks here and there that I wish I could turn off but all around great functionality with games (not sure why people are having problems with Drakes Fortune and there old Dual Shocks)and it seems like the network speed is improving. Really sorry for everyone having real problems.
Also, as a few stated above, Valkyrie Chronicles is now dirt cheap and has always been one of the coolest games on the PS3. If you love RPGs and own a PS3 but don’t own VC, then you’re really missing out.

Whats this bs rumor I hear that one of my “friends” said that if you leave your PS3 on tomorrow because of a alleged firmware update that it will crash on the 15th and must stay off for said days. If this rumor proves to be true, Sony is looking at a global lawsuit.

Theres ALLLLLOOOOOOOT of people on this board asking about it. Seeing as Sony are such a great company to purchase products from, how about somebody EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATES TO THE CONSUMER? You know, the little people (like me and the other 1000+ unhappy customers on that particular board) who keep people like you in jobs?
